Truly a touching, haunting scene. We watched Dumbo in 1st grade and this scene made me want nothing more than to go straight home and give my mom a great big hug. Such a powerful scene.

Great job voters! WE DID IT! We have formed our cast for the game. Now, I know if you asked every person on this board to say their Top 12 Disney songs, each person would have 12 different choices. But I think it's safe to say, this final group of 12 songs are all such classic, true Disney songs and they ALL deserve their place in the Top 12.
Some general comments so far on the rankings:
The LOWEST ranked song in the To 36? Wishes. Now, I truly don't get that. Wishes is like, if you took the very best parts of the best Disney songs and compiled them into one. I really don't get that, somebody feel free to explain why nobody likes this song!
Rounding out the bottom 4 of the worst scores was Be Prepared (how this song got in over Can You Feel the Love Tonight I'll never get), Under the Sea (really?!) and Kings of New York (which I bet is because not many have seen Newsies).
Also, for some reason, the later groups, people are ranking more negatively as a whole. For example, A Whole New World in the first group got an 8.4 ranking out of 10. In the Wildcard round, it got a 4.2! That's over HALF the score dropped! And it's the same people too voting. This one truly I don't get. Just make sure you rank accurately when you vote!
Well, that's it for now. The REAL competition starts tomorrow when I post the Top 12 round! Thank you so much to everybody who has parciipated so far, I hope you keep on checking back and ranking and see which song in the Top 12 wins!!
