Recognizing pictures

Post by REINIER »

I was wondering...

woulden't it be nice to do a sort of memory game
(just to keep the grey mass occupied  )

I know there's another thread but I'd like to get to know some new
people around here :D

I will post several pictures that you must name by either

a) character reference (so who's that?)

or

b) background (which MOVIE did I use and wich SCENE?)

Feel free to post your own if anything comes to mind!

Happy hunting

Note.... You made it quite easy by naming the images to the film (can be seen by quoting your original message)

Oh, hey - I didn't realize no one had answered 6 to 10. The only one I'm unsure about is #6... but here are my guesses:

6) Tarzan (?)
7) Monsters, Inc.
8) Mulan
9) The Emperor's New Groove

I'll post some screen caps of my own in the next couple of days since I'm kind of ending the game by answering them all.

#'s 7 and 9 are easy it's Roz and Yzma, the other two I"m not sure of.

For the others here's my best guess

10) Valiant?

11) Rita from Oliver and Co.

12) Aladdin, just after he escapes from Cave of Wonders

13) Ratigan from Great Mouse Detective

The ones that stlewis75 posted are:

14) Orville or Wilbur (can't tell the difference) from either Rescuers or Down Under, most likely Down Under though. :)

15) Maleficents Castle in Sleeping Beauty

16) Geppetto's Cottage?

17) Noah's Ark sequence from Fantasia 2000?

18 Merlins House in Sword and the Stone

19) Robin Hood, during the Arhcery Tournament scene

20) Treasure Planet - it's Jack's arm I believe....

21) Secretary Bird from Bedknobs and Broomsticks

22) Walrus and the Carpenter story in Alice in Wonderland

23) Ichabod Crane in Sleepy Hollow

Hope I did this right? Wasn't sure if I was supposed to name the movies only or if naming a character counts...? :)

I thought I'd try posting some images that are a little bit harder to guess than my last set. If you guys get these, I'll bring out the big guns for the next round.

I think 28 is Lady and the Tramp
and
29 is Brother Bear

Am I correct?

I'm not too sure of 26 and 27 though.

26) Sword in the stone (when Wart is turned into a fish)?
27) My guess is that this is from Fantasia 2000, "Pines of Rome" sequence with the flying wales.
