I bought some makeup at Walgreens (there were a lot of sales and clearance merchandise!), and some tank tops and blouses at Ross (for when I get a job).

I got a new game yesterday for my DS. Cooking Mama! It's pretty fun. Some of the things you have to do are kind of hard though.

Love those! When I have the space and cash, I'm definitely going to get ino the WD Classics Collection collecting. I'll probably start with getting Slue Foot Sue off Ebay, ha. I have one WDCC statuette: the charter member Jiminy Cricket statue. I was one of the first members of the society, but I was just in high school and never had the money to buy anything, ha. Plus, they short changed me by only sending me 3 of the 4 magazines I was supposed to get, and though I let them know, they never did anything about it.

Anyways, I recently bought two items, both DVDs: The Black Hole and Casablanca 2-disc. My old Anchor Bay Black Hole DVD is pretty scuffed up (because it was one of my first DVDs, and several of them got ruined in a bad experience I had), so I don't know if I'll be trashing it or giving it to my little sis (if it still plays).

I also happen to know that I'll be getting the Thumper (and his girlfriend) 2007 Hallmark ornament, one of those wooden Snow White heart boxes with the apple ornament inside from the Disney Store, a Wicked Witch of the West talking 2007 Hallmark ornament, a Rhett and Scarlet talking Hallmark 2007 ornament, and a Batman 2007 Hallmark ornament as Christmas and birthday gifts in 2008. These weren't my first choices as Hallmark ornaments (really wanted that Tinkerbell, for example), but they were all that were left during the clearance sales, and I'm amazed we even found good ones like those!

Oh, I also recently bought the book "The Art of Being a Wolf" from Barnes and Noble and was sent some stuff in the mail to write Amazon.com reviews for: The Sport of Schutzhund (book) and Hatchet Unrated version DVD. I'm expecting this week: He Was a Quiet Man DVD and Spirit of the Glen CD.

Amazon sends you movies to review? So your reviews aren't in with the buyers' reviews? How does that work?

Amazon started a new program last August or so that they selected several customer reviewers to be a part of. It's called the Amazon Vine program, and each month, we get a list of items to choose two from to write reviews for. Usually, they're items that are not released yet to the public, but some are already out. The items are mostly books (which I don't usually get), but there are usually 1 or 2 DVDs to pick from too, and sometimes CDs, electronics, and other stuff. Anyway, I have no idea how they selected those reviewers involved. I'm a top 1,000 reviewer, but I don't think they went by that. It might just have been based on how often you contribute to Amazon. I go by my comic strip character's name on Amazon, by the way, "Monty Moonlight."

Along with receiving my two Amazon Vine items, I also picked up Monster Squad on DVD the other day. That was crazy to see again! There is way too much unnecessary cursing for a kids' movie (and it's totally politically incorrect, not that I care), but it is so cool to see again, especially the way it brings the classic monsters together without making them goofy or anything, and even with Drac dressed in the most cartoony suit, they manage to make him seem like a real threat.

I also wanted to pick up Disney's Ice Princess on DVD at Circuit City for 3.98 (or so) this week, but they only had one copy and it was fullscreen! I hate that, because I have to drive across town to get there. Might check again on Thursday or Friday or something.

Oh, okay, I thought this was for anything other than just Disney DVDs. I have never seen any other topics about purchases though, and I've never understood why people get so nit-picky sometimes.

Well if you didn't look for it, it's right here. It has had numerous volumes and is currentley on page 17, so I doubt that you haven't seen it.

Ah, see, I did see that, but the title made me think it was about new releases or something.

I finally picked up a classic controller today for my Nintendo Wii. I got it from Best Buy, they finally got some in stock. I purchased "Donkey Kong 2" for 800 Wii points, and I needed the classic controller to play. I've wanted one for a while and just finally got around to getting it.

I recently won a "Maleficent as the Dragon" Plush auction on eBay and she came in the mail yesterday. My Disney Store Plush Collection is finally starting to flesh out. Up to 13 characters off my list of 100 wanted. :P
