Make a Major Hollywood Blockbuster!
In this contest everyone must make a movie under the Walt Disney Company's 4 main studios.
The examples are listed below:
#1: Walt Disney Pictures (These are family films that can include fantasy elements and like everything expected from the Disney film. You can even have animated films in CGI, hand-drawn or even stop-motion.) FILM GENRE: Family
#2: Touchstone Pictures (These are more mature comedies with Disney friendly actors. It can be really gross comedy but keep the profanity to a minimum.) FILM GENRE: Mature Comedy
#3: Hollywood Pictures (These slasher horror/thriller films are meant for an adult audience and can feature famous action actors like Clive Owen or Bruce Willis. They can as much violence as you want, but try to make 'em good 'n' scary!) GENRE: Horror/Thriller
#4: Mirimax Films (These are space and sci-fi movies with spooky creatures and monsters that want to take over the world.)
I hope that answers as many questions as I can. When you post your ideas be sure to explain your plot and state your actors, director(s) and the date you'd want your movie released. Also, you may only post one script once a month to make sure you have time for other things, too.
Have fun and be creative! And there are no winners or losers, just have fun. I'll start mine soon...
BTW, it's spun off from this thread: http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... highlight=

All right, to kick things off, here's my first entry...
This movie is a family film made by Walt Disney Pictures. It's a traditional animated feature. It's a version of Freaky Friday, but with the characters from the Goof Troop and Goofy Movie serieses. It is called...
GOOFY FRIDAY
Plot Outline: Goofy and Max's attitudes toward each other and their ENORMOUS generation gap are starting to come between them. They don't see eye-to-eye on much of anything. They both seem to be overworked, Goofy at work and Max at school, yet they each don't understand the hardships the other has to endure. Even worse, they have bad taste in women; Max doesn't like Goofy's fiancée and Goofy dislikes Max's newest girlfriend (he had broken up with Roxanne). Eventually, one Thursday night, their disagreements reach maximum boil; they refuse to talk to each other at all! When they go to bed that night, they see out the window a shooting star whizzing through the sky. Knowing that you should make a wish when you see a shooting star in the sky, they each make the wish of figuring out what life would really be like as the other. The next morning, Friday morning, things really get goofy: they awaken in the other's bed - they had switched places and are in the other's body; Goofy is in Max's body and vice-versa! Naturally, they are forced to adapt to life in each other's body and hilarity ensues. This causes real confusion, especially for their neighbors, Pete and P.J. And things really get intense when Goofy's marriage coming up on Saturday - and they must return to the other's body and fast!
Tagline: "As if his father wasn't goofy enough, he, his life and his day are all about to get even goofier!"
Cast:
Bill Farmer: Goofy
Jason Marsden: Max
Jim Cummings: Pete
Rob Paulsen: P.J.
Pauly Shore: Bobby
Ashley Johnson: Jodie (Max's new girlfriend)
Cree Summer: Mary (Goofy's fiancée)
Directors:
Donovan Cook
Frank Nissen
Release Date: June 6, 2008

Since you put it through, I'll make up a major motion-picture movie. It's an animated Disney classic and it's from Disney. It's Spark.
Here's the plot:
PLOT'D: It takes place in the medival days, with the legendary, medival, fish-out-of-water, knight/hero, Spark. It's a fantasy/adventure/comedy about Spark having a feast after saving the peasants. And gave the rich to the poor (ala Robin Hood). But, he's no match for the movie's Disney Villian, Wizard Catastrophe. Wizard Catastrophe hates Spark. He always gets defeated. Including the annual knight battle. This time, Wizard Catastrophe uses the secret weapon. Like Maleficent from "Sleeping Beauty" or Jafar from "Aladdin," he has birds, but this time, he makes the birds by casting the spell. They're dumb, lazy birds named, Stan, Crunch & Crounster. Wizard Catastrophe ordered his 3 birds to catch Spark. It failed. So, Wizard Catastrophe casts a spell for a dragon as a secret weapon. It's a dragon that the 3 birds ordered to make. It's Dragon Catarophe. He's furious, evil, darker & scarier than the wizard. Then, Wizard Catastrophe kidnaps Princess Luci. Spark fights for the dragon, the wizard & the 3 birds. And, Wizard Catastrophe, the 3 birds & the dragon were finally defeated by Spark. Then, Spark rescued Luci. Luci thanked Spark for rescuing her. Spark was congratuated as the best middle-aged hero of the medival years.
SLOGAN'D: 1. This fish is NOT cooked, but the Wizard is! 2. If You're Wizard Catastrophe, You're Probably Sparked!

This is a neat idea! I love your idea, BDF!!! TVB, you said that Spark is middle-aged in the last sentence...I assume you mean from the Middle Ages, since Spencer Breslin is definitely not middle-aged! Geroge Carlin as a Disney villian is an inspired choice!
So, after we post this blurb, we then write a script and post it later? How long is the script supposed to be (feature-lengthed, I guess)? If I can think of anything, I may try this...vacation is coming up, after all!

Thanks for loving it. Well, we all can do it. It's feature-length. It has some humor. Not TOO humorous like "Chicken Little." So, I guess we can all do it.blackcauldron85 wrote:This is a neat idea! Certainly, we can do it. In fact, I've decided to up the amount of movie-turn-ins a month from one to two, this way we can keep the thread alive and you can have time for other things, too.TheValentineBros wrote:Thanks for loving it. I'm still here. It's just that my original intention of this thread was for everyone to come up with different movie titles under the sections of Disney (i.e., Disney, Touchstone, etc.) and just do one of each, not focus on any one movie too much, like you're doing (no offense).TheValentineBros wrote:Is everyone there?
