http://tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=7687
All I own is the first season but I may just buy this box set depending on how much Amazon disconuts it.. Seems like a Better way and a more easier way to get the complete series..
Boy am I glad I didnt complete the my collection sooner... Now I will for sure wait until November to pick up this unique box set....
Also Season 8 comes out the same day which is November 6th

As I posted in the complete series thread, I'm tempted to wait and get the complete set as well. I've already bought and watched S1-3, but my S4 and S5 sets are still unopened and can be taken back. I could refund my two unopened copies, sell the first three, and hold off on the others until the house set comes out. I'm not entirely sure if I want to, though, and it really depends on two things: (1) Will there be any extra content in the set, (2) What are the house dimensions and how difficult will it be to store/display?

I don't really care about that box house of Full House complete set.
As of now I already own Season 1-5 and hopefully will buy Seasons 6-8.
When Full House Season 7 comes out I might get it with season 6.
At least now when my set is completed I don't have to watch ABC Family Channel or Nick at Nite.

Like with anything else... it'll be the money as the deciding factor. But I don't see why this show wasn't packaged as an entire season from the very beginning. How could anyone start with 1 ultra-cheesy season of this horrible, ultra-cheesy show and just stop there? This compellingly awful show must be ingested completely for the drugging affect to work. As it is now, I watch it whenever it's on and I have nothing better to do, just so I can re-write it in my head as I watch it. But...if I owned any part of it... I can't say for sure it wouldn't suck out my brain when I slept.
I say... they need to make a movie version of this show. Totally satirical, like they did for The Brady Bunch.

I don't agree with all your "Full House" hatin', but I do love this idea, as a fan of both "Full House", "The Brad Bunch", and the <i>Brady Bunch</i> movies.Lazario wrote:I say... they need to make a movie version of this show. Totally satirical, like they did for The Brady Bunch.

This series just screams to be satirized though. Like the post I made about the Tanner family Cult (that no one responded to
You have to admit, the show's a total joke. But I'm not saying I don't crack up frequently. That's why I watch it. It's a complete car-crash. One has a morbid curiosity to see just how bad it is.

I used to watch "Full House" for the last few years and I can't stand it anymore, because of the Olsen Twins. Mary-Kate is doing a show called "Weeds" for Showtime and it will be the first time Mary-Kate will be doing a show without Ashley, because of her separation about a year or so ago.
The one episode that I love was about a Disney World trip.

New info on the house set: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=7726
The box is smaller than I feared it would be, but it looks like it's merely a box to hold the already existing sets as they are (<i>sans</i> slipcovers), more similar to the original black box for the "Friends" sets than the "Friends" Complete Series set. With no extra content and no real change in the packaging, I can't see paying that much money to upgrade just for a box... especially one that's not even the right color.
It's a cool concept, Warner, but you need to fix the color, make the packaging more special and convenient, and add some supplementary material. Either that, or allow those who already own the season sets to send in for the box itself so that they can store their cases in it.

I saw this set at Best Buy, today, when I went in to pick up Full House: The Complete Eighth Season and Pixar Short Films Collection, Volume 1. While it would be neat to have the "Tanner House" packaging, and the price is actually very good for the whole series, I'm just going to stick with my individual season sets. In fact, with the release of Season 8, I now have the Complete Series on DVD.
Also, it is worth noting that they did not fix the color of the house. It's still yellow.
