May I refer you to <a href=http://www.ultimatedisney.com/forum/vie ... =2366>this identical thread</a> which I created earlier this very week.
On a nicer note, welcome to the forum! Nice to have you and we hope you'll stay a while. Sorry to spoil your first thread.
Oh, yeah, and one last little thing. You should meet my buddy over in the top hand right corner of the forum. He's the search engine. He sits there searching and seeing all. He's had his eye on you since you came and posted this. He's kind of shy, but he told me that he thinks you are <i>hot</i>. Go presss his button and introduce yourself, okay? Cool.

What the heck is this? Is it supposed to be sarcasm? I'm sorry but I did do a search and nothing came up. I didn't mean to be a spoil sport and take away from your thread. Look, you... you've make me sad now.Jake Lipson wrote:

Heh, on another note, thanks for thinking I'm hot, but like Homer once told Mr. Burns, "I don't go for those <i>backdoor</i> shenanigans."

...and of course the UK Atlantis Collector's Edition comes in a shiny slipcover that opens like a bottle.
Oh how I love my Atlantis outer case!
Oh and another addition: Not Disney as such, but Spy Kids 2 came with a cardboard outer case.

Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
What Disney DVDs DON'T have slipcovers?
I really just started collecting DVD's, and want to know which Disneys don't come with cardboard slipcovers. Do Collector's editions like Emperors New Groove: Ultimate and Atlantis, or the Gold Collection. The only one's I'm sure about are Masterpiece, Special, and Platinum editions. Thanks.
Every one that's not on this list:

My Brazilian "Lilo & Stitch" also has a slip cover... It's a 2-disc edition, with both discs comming inside a double white Amaray pack.
Hehe, no, it is not a 2-DVD edition, but it is a special edition with the DVD plus a CD-ROM. I do not care for the CD-ROM at all, I only bought it because of the slip cover. Here is a picture of it:

I know it doesn't look that good here, but on live it is pretty nice... It has some redish shiny effects to the title and the quality of the paper is very good as well.
I'll try to get a scan of it for you.

Or at least, personal shopper to the Australians.
Seriously though, if anybody does spot a copy of Sleeping Beauty in the shops with the slip cover in good condition, please let me know as we might be able to work something out. Perhaps there is an Aussie exclusive I could pick up for that person in exchange?
Anyways, no harm no foul if it isn't around...
I don't mind doing some shopping for you Loomiz! I don't mind helping a fellow Loom.

That's bizarre..
*looks at admittedly small collection*
I bought 'Sleeping Beauty' at Best Buy about 3 days before it was slated to go out of print, and it had a slipcover. In fact, half of them did. As well as at Suncoast. And the Disney store.
Today, I bought 'Beauty and the Beast' at the Disney store. All 8 or so copies they had had slipcovers.

Every copy of Sleeping Beauty I've seen in stores since late October/Early November has had no slip cover. You probably were lucky enough to pick up a copy from one of the first shipments to the store.Son of the Morning wrote:That's bizarre..

As for Beauty and the Beast, I haven't yet seen one without a slip cover, and I doubt they exist. Only including slipcovers on Disney DVDs the first month or so started recently. BATB came out before that, so by the time it went out of print in January 2003, it still had slip covers on every copy. Therefore, since no new copies of it are being printed, all existing copies have a slipcover.
