The new DisneyStore.com

Post by Disneykid »

Disney has finally opened a website for the Disney Store. Now, this is not to be confused with DisneyShopping.com. DisneyStore.com will have the merchandise you see in the actual stores, whereas DisneyShopping has exclusive online stuff. What makes me happiest about the new site is now I can purchase merchandise from the Studio Collection without going to the store and having it sold out by the time I get there. They've got some really sweet stuff there, and are adding more items to the site everyday. Lookie:

Thats great. I have found it kkind of confusing since they sold it off to the Children's Store.

Before I go and tempt myself by looking at what the site has got, can anybody please tell me if it's open to Canadian shoppers as well? I'd look myself but I don't want to be depressed if I see some of the items I decided to not purchase the last time I was at a Disney Store (the nearest one to me is a five to six hour drive) and find out I can't buy them.

Thanks in advance. :)

Awesome! It's about time! Disney Store has to have been the only major retailer without its own website for a long time. The most exciting thing is probably the Store Locator, which has up until now been incomplete and hard to find online.

When they sold the stores to TCP (or licensed them - however you want to look at it) a part of the agreement was that Disney would retain DisneyStore.com for one year (and redirect to DisneyShopping.com)

If you click on the MEDIA section of DisneyStore.com it still takes you to DisneyShopping.com
