I'd like to continue to ask for your thoughts and prayers for my Grandpa. They finally scheduled the surgery for the anuerism in his stomach, which is to be the final surgery in his recovery. Everything has been going well. This past Thursday, they had him come in for all of the pre-op stuff, and his surgery is scheduled for this coming Tuesday. However, this afternoon, they called to say they found a nodule, which showed up in his chest X-ray. That's all they really said, and that they need to bring him in, tomorrow morning, to find out what is going on. I pray to God that it isn't anything bad. They will not procede with the surgery for his anuerism, until everything else checks out. So, I ask for your continued thoughts, well wishes, and prayers. He certainly needs them. He has been through a rough time, and his recovery is going very well. I pray nothing else stands in the way!
Thank you.
Thank you.
I'll be praying for your grandfather, as well as you and your family, MM1. I'd also like to let you know that I'm here to talk anytime you need me.
I pray that he'll have a quick and full recovery. Be sure to keep us posted.
P.S.

It sucks he has to have surgery. I recently lost my Grandmother so I know how you probably feel. But if your Grandpa was doing better, then hopefully he'll be fine during and after the surgery. I hope all goes well.

Thank you, blackcauldron85 and PixarFan2006. I really appreciate it.
I just got off the phone with my Sister, as I am at work, and she said that they just ran some more tests. We won't know anything until the results come back. We are assuming next week. It's so frustrating to have to wait. Just continue to keep my Grandpa in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you, so much.

Thank you, Simba3. I sincerely appreciate it. We are now just waiting to hear back from them about the results. My Grandpa & Grandma, and my Mom are all back to their homes. My Mom is so good to them. She always takes them to their appointments, even though she lives 80 some miles from each other, and the appointments are another 80 some miles from where my Grandma and Grandpa live.Simba3 wrote:MM1, you and your family and in my thoughts during this troubling time.
I just keep praying that we'll hear only good news. Thanks, again, for all the well wishes, thoughts, and prayers. You all are the best!

Thank you, Dottie and carter1971.
It's been a tough weekend. First, finding out that they found this nodule, which we are now waiting on information from the scans they've done. Then, this morning, my Mom called me as she was on her way to church, to tell me that my great-aunt Imogene (who is my Grandpa's sister), passed away last night. It's so sad. Imogene was such a wonderful woman, who always put a smile on your face, and a laugh in your heart. She will be missed, so much. Her funeral is on Wednesday. I'm not looking forward to that (although, I guess nobody really looks forward to a funeral). I will always remember how much I loved being around her, and how she could always make me laugh. Oh, how I will miss her.
