Walt Disney Treasures

Post by KeithS4789 »

Has anyone got any of the Walt Disney Treasures DVD sets for sale? It does not matter which ones they are because I am wanting all 7 that have been released.

Thanks for your time.

I don't have any Treasures for sale but I bought Silly Symphonies and Davy Crockett from BestBuy.com for 29.99 about a month ago. BestBuy.com also had Behind the Scenes and Disneyland USA. However, I bought my copy of Behind the Scenes as well as Mickey in B&W and the Complete Goofy from The Disney Store for $22. Most of the sets can still be found in stores/on-line with a little searching except for Mickey in Color which is impossible to find and you'll probably have to get it from e-bay.

Well, they are becoming harder to find...especially the first round of Treasures released in 2001. If you have one close, head to a Disney Store because you should be able to find a couple of the 2002 releases for around $22.99. Other than that, Best Buy should have a couple from both the 2001 and 2002 sets for $29.99.

As Bella said above, don't expect to find a Mickey Mouse in Living Color at ANY store, and you'll only see them on eBay for no less than $65-$75.

Good luck in your quest. I have six of them myself and they are truly amazing collections.

I haven't seen a "Complete Goofy" since February.
Amazon has some Behind the Scenes and Disneyland USAs...
I bought all my Wave 2s at the Disney Store an hour after they opened on release date. I'm actually going to take the day off of work this year to do the same (and then go home and watch).l

Call WDW Merchandise if you can't find them elsewhere. I saw a few Treasures titles at the Once Upon a Toy store at Downtown Disney.

I decided to get the Davy Crockett, Mickey Mouse in Living Color, Silly Symphonies, The Complete Goofy and Mickey Mouse in Black and White from Ebay. Disneyland, USA and Behind the Scenes at Walt Disney Studios from Amazon. It will probably be a little over 300 dollars for me to get all 7 of them.

Keith--

Did you try searching any of the actual stores first (Disney, Best Buy)?
Unless you just aren't anywhere near them I'd imagine you should ba able to find a couple that route...maybe even through their online stores instead of in-person.

At any rate, glad to see you found them all ... and try and get the next round of Tins when they come out and save yourself some $$ :)

I do not have any of those store near me. I checked online stores. The only ones I could find from online stores were Disneyland, USA and Inside Disney Studios. Do you know of a auction where you can buy all 7 for 315 dollars? That would be easier than buying these from seperate people.

Bestbuy.com still has the Davy Crockett Treasures set but you have to search under the name Davy Crockett instead of Walt Disney Treasures.

But, if you want to buy all seven at once, there is a set of all seven currently up for bid on e-bay for $255 with shipping for $20. There are still 2 days left in the auction.

Hope this helps :)
