Just a thing, joe forget to translate these words:

Locação = only for renting video store
Venda Direta = renting and sell for general people

Here is the "Zé Carioca" pack, which contains both "Saludos Amigos" (Alô, Amigos) and "The Three Caballeros" (Você Já Foi à Bahia?). It will be released here in February.
I already own both, so I won't be buying the set... But it is really atractive! :-)

Wow - I own both as well, but that IS really cool. Why can't US Disney put out stuff like that?

I hope for your sakes that Saludos is unedited, as it seems ours is in fact edited. Please let us know if your local release (rerelease) is unedited. It might only be a few seconds, but it is the principle dammit ! :D

Oh, and another thing I forgot to ask you about ordering, Joe (and this may help me with 'Not Even if the Cow Coughs' too) - do Brazilian DVDs have "burnt in" subtitles, or are they removable? And do they come with English & Spanish/Portuguese soundtracks? Just thought I'd check in case I ever order something.

Cheers (y)

Hey, Loomis, unfortunately it will be edited... It will be the same disc that was released some months ago. :(
As for the subtitles, yes, they are removable. Before the main menu, you can choose to see the menus/film/extras in either English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Hey, wizzer, this pack was released about a year ago, and it is still available. But it sucks anyway, because "A Bug's Life" and "Toy Story 2" are in full screen. :P
And there is a new pack available which includes "Monsters, Inc."

Unfortunatedy, a lot of companies releases fullscreen version in region 4 NTSC and release widescreen version in another regions.

One of the biggest examples is the dvd of Spider-Man: here, just full screenn version, rest of the world wide screen version.

Thanks, Joe.
I don't ever want to spend money on a edited DVD - not even if the cow coughs... :P

And that's good to know about the subtitles etc. I'm still keen to get 'Not Even if the Cow Coughs when it comes out. It is my new obsession.

That, and Police Academy. :D
