Possible Release of Gargoyles Season 2 Volume 2 Set??

Post by Chernabog_Rocks »

So earlier today I had my Aunt and phone a CD store to order the Gargoyles Seasons 1 and Season 2 Volume 1 and the clerk mentioned that they were also waiting for Season 2 Volume 2's release to be verified :? So does this mean Disney is making it and just not saying anything? I didn't catch the entire conversation but from what my aunt said, the store owner was waiting to see if/when the last set is released. Has anyone else heard something about the future of the Gargoyles DVD's?

I used the Search beforehand but all I got for results was the Environment Thread for some reason

That's odd. I got 37 matches in mine...

What did you type in? Did you change any of the settings on search as well like "search all terms" or "search topic title only"?

I've done every imaginable type of search using either "Gargoyles" "gargoyles" "Gargoyle" and "gargoyle" and not one of them ever brings up the Environment thread.

:?

I ran two Searches, since the first time I typed in what I called this topic   But I don't remember for sure what I typed the second time, I'm pretty sure it was Gargoyles Season Sets/DVD Future, I'm positive I specified General Discussion though.

Is Disney making Gargoyles Season 2, Volume 2 on DVD now? When will we hear the release about Gargoyles Season 2, Volume 2 on DVD, so that I can complete the entire series of Gargoyles on DVD? Thank you.

I often have trouble with the search engine here too trying to find threads I know to exist. One time I tried to find the Laserdisc thread and tried LD, LDs, LD's, Laser Disc, Laserdisc, laser discs, laserdiscs, etc and got nothing. I don't know if the search works sometimes and other times not but I know for a fact I should have found threads with it before and only got hits that had nothing to do with what I wanted.

The Search Engine can be temperamental at times, just make sure you first try any searches under "search all terms", and if you know it's in the topic title "search topic title only".

Or, if all else fails, simply consult the tutorial :D

I tried the search all terms too and put it in quotes. I guess I was just saying don't always assume people who start new threads needlessly haven't tried to use the search engine first. One of the first posts I made here was a case like that and I forget what it was you said but it made me feel unwelcome here but I eventually got over it. I understand the irritation of multiple threads but just try to be a little understanding unless someone makes a habbit of it. (I hope I didn't offend you, Escapy. I enjoy the posts we've batted back and forth here.)

When will we get Gargoyles Season 2, Volume 2 on DVD?

Post by Jonny Modlin »

When will we hear about the announcement of Gargoyles Season 2, Volume 2 on DVD? Since the comic books sold well, will we get Disney's attention to release the rest of Gargoyles Season 2, Volume 2 on DVD so that I can complete the entire series of Gargoyles on DVD? So far are the sales doing for the comics and Season 1 and Season 2, Volume 1 of Gargoyles to release the rest of Season 2, Volume 2? I edited the title already. Thank you.

Jonny, can you (or a mod, whoever gets to it first) edit the title of this thread so that members will know this is a question and not an actual update? Just so it doesn't get everyone's hopes up...

Also Johnny edit the name of the title to something saying When will Gargoyles Season 2 Vol 2 be out or is it still coming.... Rest assured I happen to know a website where they will have the update ASAP when/if its ever annouced.

Are you sure the comic is selling well? It was supposed to be bi-monthly and Amazon only has 2 issues listed. One came out in June, the other in December.

So did he say it because they really are selling weell or just to get the DVD out? 2 issues a year of a bi monthly book isn't selling well in anyone's eyes...
