I know your post wasn't aimed towards me, but I just thought I'd share my two cents.
I actually don't think this movie is that bad. Sure, the acting isn't great and some of the writing is lame, but it's not terrible. I own the DVD as well.
I've been concentrating on my HD DVDs but over the past few weeks I've still bought:
Borat R2 When the Levees Broke R1 Beyond the Valley of the Dolls Cinema Reserve R2 Hellboy: Sword of Sorrows R1
I also got Comic Relief Does Little Britain Live [R2]. I'm sure it will be on the Little Britain Abroad set when that comes out, but £3 of my £5 does go to the Comic Relief charity.
I bought "Peter Pan" and "Funny Factory with Donald" from Best Buy today. The Disney Movie Club will be shipping out my "Funny Factory with Mickey" DVD soon (hopefully).
I got it at Wal-Mart with that extra disc thing. I havent checked it out yet, though.
"Hip hop frightens you, doesn't it....Hmmm...Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate. Hate leads to endlessly posting threads about stupid white people. Hmmmmm....."
To answer your question: a combination of that I have and always will love Britney, I've been sick these past few weeks, it was five bucks, and my Mom thought it would be a little inside joke of ours to get it for me since she hated it when we saw it together.
Peter Pan: Platinum Edition
Well, I've only watched a little bit of it, but the picture is absolutely amazing, I'm glad I finally got it. It was the last copy in the entire store. They must be selling like hotcakes, unless Eva Gabor makes them (for all of you "Green Acres" fans). The thing that I don't like is how it says "Disney Movie Rewards Participating Title" and that instead of "2-Disc Special Edition" under the logo, it says "2-Disc Platinum Edition" - $16.99
The Princess Diaries: 2-Disc Special Edition
I've just purchased it, so I haven't seen any of it, but reading UD's handy dandy review, it sounds like a pretty solid release. - $11.99 (with $3 dollars of with purchase of "Peter Pan" Platinum Edition )
