I wonder what animation they are testing here... I don't really see anything revolutionary, in terms of hair or muscle structure or whatnot.
Leaked Ratatouille test footage
Well it's not "leaked" since it's been posted by Disney's online publicity people. It's not especially revealing and, like you say, it doesn't appear to be anything revolutionary. Probably just a test to make sure that a rodent character maintains consistency through movement. Still, interesting enough. Thanks for posting. Weird that this movie's opening in 4 months and we know so little about it.

According to one of the respondents on the YouTube site, this is just an outtake that will probably be finished and included in the extras for the movie when it comes to DVD. I think they were just trying out different motions for the character.
