Don't forget on the "Fox and the Hound 2" DVD, it contains the cartoon "Goofy & Wilbur". That cartoon was from the old "Disneyland" show entitled "On Vacation with Mickey & Friends". with Jiminy Cricket at Walt's desk at his office. Good stuff.

It's also Goofy's first cartoon under his own series and is in WDT: Complete Goofy.

Hey mike, would it be possible to rip the trailer of "My Friends Tigger & Pooh"? I would love to see it!

Thanks ahead!

Supposedly, there's an exclusive logo in the works for Disney's animated films, so maybe your theory of the new logo being just for live action films is right.

That actually shouldn't be a theory at all, as the logo used for Pirates of the Caribbean 2 was produced solely for live action films of such calliber to differentiate them from animated Disney films... That was the purpose all along :)

Was it the logo used in The Santa Clause 3? Because if it was, then I've seen it.

No; "The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D" also had the new logo(in 3D :D). It's also seen in the trailer for "Meet The Robinsons".

Hmm, strange... Well then I'm mistaking  I could have sworn I read that on an official press release of the logo. Sorry!

Walt Disney Feature Animation gets in on the New Logo Trend?

You have nothing to be sorry about, because you were right! In November 13, 2006, long after the summer release of Dead Man's Chest, when the live-action logo premiered, it was reported on animated news that Walt Disney Feature Animation would get a new logo just for its division:

News of a New Logo For Walt Disney Feature Animation

To quote them:
I got a peek at the new "Disney Animation Studio" logo that will run in front of the animated features coming out of Burbank. (Pixar, of course, has its own logo with -- the jumping lamp.) The Disney version is classy, involves a couple of well-known corporate trade marks, and is understated. I liked it.

I've been seeing TV commercials for this, and they call it:

"A New Animated Classic."

Correct! "Fox and the Hound 2" as we mentioned before was the last animated film to have the original logo after 21 years. It finally bit the dust big time. Now "Cinderella 3" is using the new logo. There you go. No more original logo. Lighthousemike had posted images for the new logo for "Cinderella 3", now that the original logo where it was used since 1985 is now gone. :(

When I rented "Fox and the Hound 2," it had no disc art. Is this something Disney does just for rental copies?

Are ya crazy about the 1990 version of this logo? I'm GLAD that they retired it! (Why do you like it, anyway?) Besides, I never liked the 1990 version of this logo! The 1985 version was much better! And besides, I think the new logo fits with "Cinderella III: A Twist in Time"! :D

I know that! I saw "Fox and the Hound 2" on Toon Disney last week since I was away for a Thanksgiving week with my DVR running. When I came back, I saw it with the 1990 Walt Disney Pictures logo shown at the beginning of "Fox and the Hound 2". This was the last Disney animated film to used that logo after 20+ years. I have the "Cinderella 3" DVD, but I checked it and there it is, the new logo instead of the old one. I'm so glad the old one was retired, the new logo is my #1 guess, but I like the other logos prior to that. That's my opinion. I comment that on the CLG since I started that thread about the last Disney animated film to used the 1990 logo.
