Snow White Witch in Cage at Disneyland?
No one else I know remembers this but I swear I'm not making it up--when Iw as in Disneyland around 1992 one of my happiest surprises was in the back of a store is a figurine of the Queen from Snow White in her Witch form--who seems static but when you step on the right stone in front of it she comes to life (an AA figure) begging and threatening you to let her out.
Is this still around? was it ever? Am I going crazy?

Evil Queen Fell Off the Cliff...And Landed In A Cage?
I'm sure you're not crazy, but alas, I haven't seen it myself. The closest thing was this:
There were these short interstitials about Disneyland or Disney World hosted by a man and a woman on Disney Channel (back when it was good). One time, the woman, who had brown hair, kind of like Nina VanHorn from "Just Shoot Me" or Mrs. Incredible from "The Incredibles", went into Cinderella's Castle, to reveal it was just white and fake inside. The episodes were all quite short, done in-between shows. Once, probably for a Halloween episode, the woman went with Cruella DeVille and Maleficent to some store. They were looking at a small figure of the Evil Queen turned into an Old Hag/Witch inside a cage, and I believe it was the birdcage-type, with black bars. I remember Maleficent saying, "I always hated her. The way she's just sickly staring at that apple", or something like that.
Conclusion: Perhaps they were in the very store you remember, and that store also sold small-scale replicas of that animatronic Witch-in-cage figure!

The show you are thinking of was called Disney Inside Out. It was not only shorts in between shows, but it's own half hour series as well. The woman was Brianne Lery (sp?). I met her one time in Disney World. However, my first and only trip to Disneyland was in 2003 and I never saw anything like that in any of the shops.

Not only do I know you're not crazy, but I've seen it myself and she DOES come to life, if you use the right words.EricMontreal22 wrote:No one else I know remembers this but I swear I'm not making it up--when Iw as in Disneyland around 1992 one of my happiest surprises was in the back of a store is a figurine of the Queen from Snow White in her Witch form--who seems static but when you step on the right stone in front of it she comes to life (an AA figure) begging and threatening you to let her out.

Here's what she said:
That's kinda what I remember her saying.Hello, deary. No need to be afraid. Come closer. I won't hurt you. I want you to open this cage and let me out. That's it, release me. Let me out and I'll show you some nice tricks. I can give you powers you've never dreamed of. I'll show you how to fly or how to turn water into gasoline. Please, you must help me! These chains are strong, so help me. [suddenly angry] All right! You'll regret you didn't help this poor nice lady! I can break this chain myself and you'll be sorry! I... [groans] I can do it! [growls and groans again before stopping]

Well, thanks for letting us know. To be honest, that life-size witch doesn't look much like the small figure I saw on that show. I think the gasoline quote is awesome. It's like teaching kids to do something dangerous.
Oh yea, and thanks goofystitch for the info on the show I saw!
