See Destino by paying to see Calendar Girls

Post by Luke »

Well "Calendar Girls" opens here today, and apparently you get to see the Dali/Disney collaboration "Destino" before the movie. Of course, I have no interest at all to see "Calendar Girls" and $10 for a short is a bit rich for my blood. I'm not sure if this is going to be true for all showings, or just the ones in New York.

I hope Destino is with the movie when it opens here. Mom wants to see Calendar Girls so I'll tag along for the short.

Just walk out about 20 minutes before the end of Calander Girls. The movie as a unneeded suffix at the end (showing the "girls" traveling to America) which really isn't needed; the story has ended.

The cynic in me thinks it was just added to appeal to the American audience. The scenes really are badly scripted and serve no point in the plot.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I have NO interest whatsoever to see that movie-but I really want to see Destino! The more I hear about it, the more I want to see it!

this Destino short sounds interesting. i might see it when it is not attach to a movie about a bunch of women taking pictures of themselves so it can be put on a calander.

I saw Calendar Girls last night with my mother. It most definitly is a chic flick however i thought it was a cute movie. I wouldn't buy it but it was good as a free ticket.

Anyway, they didn't show the destino short at the showing i went to. Oh, yeah, i am in Tennessee if that helps. I bet its just in NY.
