Fantasia DVD

Post by Disney Guru »

8)

I own the DVD'S of both Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 which I own the legit american versions that were put out on DVD in 2000 or 2001 when Fantasia 2000 had just been in theatres.

:)

I think a Platnium DVD of Fantasia would be really nice But I Can Wait :pink:

I agree, I can wait. Most of all, because I wonder if there could be a better pack of bonus features that the ones in the Fantasia Legacy dvd. It´s hard for me to believe that a platinum could be better.
I bet they´ll include games and characters profiles like in the last few Platinums, which in a way have been disapointing for many.
Sanctuary! Please, give me Sanctuary!

No problem for me, as long as they keep all the bonus from the current edition and provide a better transfer for "Fantasia" (not that the one on the current DVD is bad, by any means... but I'm sure Lowry Digital could take good care of the movie).

This is kinda off the subject but I don't have the Triligoy yet. So would you consider buying it or just the two dvds? Is the thrid disc worth it? I'm only 15 and thats a lot of money to spend. So if people can give me what they think that would be great Thanks! :D

Well, the third disc is excellent. But unlike the Ultimate Toy Box, the bonus disc is the only thing different/missing from the standalone Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 releases. Personally, I think Disc 3 is great and it really goes into detail on every single piece in the two films. However, if you decide to buy just the two discs individually (you're not saving as much as the mostly bare Toy Story 2-Pack going this route), you still get a decent amount of supplemental material, in the documentaries and commentaries. So, it's your call, based on how much you like the movies really and how much you can afford. The Fantasia Anthology is a wonderful set.
