What is your favorite Platinum Edition slip cover?
my favorite is the bambi slip cover not only because of the cover art but because of the spines. on one side the spine is part of the cover art, then the other side the spine pictures a beautiful green color and it's the side that i decided to put on my "disney movies shelf".

I like the Lady and the Tramp cover (but that may be because it is one of my favorite movies). I was actually very intrigued by the Snow White cover (even though the movie itself wasn't fantastic I still liked it a lot).
I'd have to say that I'm not really pleased with the Sleeping Beauty cover. It seems to lack some of the magic of the other ones (or maybe it's just because her dress is pink when it should be blue).

Oddly enough, I liked The Little Mermaid's slip cover the most. The only thing that annoys me is that Triton's fins are a green-ish color. In the movie, they're a distinct blue.
It's hard to choose though because I like Beauty and the Beast's slip cover a lot, as well as Peter Pan's.

Disney Duster's Favorite Slipcover
Well, I'm guessing you meant cover because Snow White never had a slipcover, but either way my favorite is Cinderella's. Everytime I look at it I'm like, "Wow" because the colors are some of my favorites (blues, purples, silver). Also, it is my favorite movie and I've always liked the looks of the glass slipper, the white stars, the pumpkin coach, and the castle. It also opens up like a book, and looks so classy inside with the silver coach in the middle. The Little Mermaid is second because it's bumpy and has like so many characters on it. I like a lot on my cover, actually. It's fun to try and find every character, every favorite moment. It's also, perhaps not coincidently, my second favorite movie.

Disney DVD Slipcovers or Covers?
Well, disneystarsfan is new, and doesn't know as much about Disney DVDs as members who have been here longer. I myself bought Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on DVD, so I know it doesn't have a slipcover. I think disneystarsfan mixed up slipcovers with just covers. A slipcover is cardboard on the outside of the DVD, while the actual cover is the art on the DVD case.Big Disney Fan wrote:Then how come Snow White is listed in this poll?

I believe I voted for the wonderful slipcover that can be found upon the Beauty and the Beast Platinum Edition DVD.

As far as covers go, it'd be more competition if we had covers as exciting as some that are overseas (like the Japanese TLM Platinum or Pocahontas' [in France?]). The only ones I think are horrible are Aladdin's and Lady and the Tramp's. They look like there was no effort in getting the characters right at all. Out of the rest, my pick would be either The Lion King's cover or The Little Mermaid's.
For slipcovers alone, TLM definitely wins out.
