Has anyone seen this movie yet? It looks kinda interesting to me, but the critics don't give it a very good review. They were right about matrix revolutions, I'm wondering if they are right about this one as well?
For those of you who saw it, what was your impression? Were you disappointed? or thought it was a good movie?

I saw it.
It was better than I expected, surprisingly solid. Cruise seems more a movie star, though, than an actor, if that makes sense. The battles did sweep me away, especially toward the end. So I would give it 3 Stars out of 4.
However, I must add that I feel the other big epic of the past month, Master and Commander, exceeds The Last Samurai by far...but they're for very different audiences. The Last Samurai has a more general appeal, I think. M&C is more...literary, I suppose.
