If I Never Knew You
I just watched The Santa Clause 2, and saw the trailer for the 3 2004 SE's.
I'm so ecstatic about the fact that the Pocahontas SE is going to have If I Never Knew You. Even if it isn't integrated into the film, at least it will be in its entirety.
Oh, but the preview was really strange-it called Pocahontas, Alice, and Lilo and Stitch the three greatest movies getting the 3 greatest DVD's. Weird.

That's just basic marketing...
Disney wouldn't ever say something like "three not as cherrished, but still good films" to sell those...
Anyway, those are 3 animated classics and should be treated as such...
Maybe someday in the very far future even the Black Cauldron will get a better release...
The new song in Pocahontas sounds nice to see in the extras...

Funny...there's no preview for the 2003 SE's on my Santa Clause 2 DVD, but that's ok because based on your descriptions, that sounds like the same preview on the Finding Nemo DVD.
Kelly-If I Never Knew You was a supplement on the Pocahontas Collector's Laserdisc, a supplement on the UK DVD (but not US), and shown on The Wonderful World of Disney's presentation of Pocahontas a couple of years ago. I bet most of the people on the boards know the song from one of these presentations.

Also, it plays over the ending credits, albeit by Shanice and some other guy.Disneykid wrote:Funny...there's no preview for the 2003 SE's on my Santa Clause 2 DVD, but that's ok because based on your descriptions, that sounds like the same preview on the Finding Nemo DVD.

Actually, the version on 'Mouse House - Disney's Dance Mixes' is performed by Valerie Davis and Joey Diggs.

I believe it is also on a couple other Disney CDs like the Disney Country Cd, the Cd of the Broadway Singer (can't remember his noame or find my copy of it) as well as others.
It's definately NOT something they've been hiding. You can find the song just about anywhere.
