No holding a shiny plastic cd case or looking through the booklett at the pictures and reading who wrote what song, where it was recorded and what not. I do buy a lot of music on iTunes, but it's kind of sad that it is coming to this. Maybe they sold more Bambi 2 soundtracks digitally than through stores.
U said it!
So I doubt there will be a CD for this movie. I might as well just buy it online and burn myself a copy.
In another triumph for its direct-to-video sequels to animated theatrical features, Buena Vista Home Entertainment topped the national DVD sales chart with "Brother Bear 2" for the week ending Sept. 3. It's the second DTV winner for Buena Vista this year; "Bambi 2" came out in February and still ranks among the top 10 DVD sellers of the year.
I really liked this movie and I agree with what goofystitch had to say about the similarities to other Disney films because I noticed them too, especially the raccoons chasing Nita (my little brother even noticed the resemblance that scene had to Tarzan).
Overall, the movie was thoroughly enjoyable, I didn't get bored for an instant (which happened when I sat through Mulan II). I'm glad that the content of DTV is improving. I hope that it continues this way and isn't just a lucky shot.
It's up to you and me, to face our destiny. The jury's here so let's take the stand.
