I can't possibly imagine how James Marsden (Cyclops in the X-Men movies) be possibly acting like a prince and wearing those odd clothes!

Wow! I love it! I have a feeling that Queen Narissa (that's the queen's name right?) could soon rank up with Maleficent, The Evil Queen, Cruella, Ursula, and Jafar as one of the best Disney Villains!

Disney Duster Not Enchanted By Costume

Post by Disney Duster »

I like most of the costume, but does that scaly part over her skirt remind anyone of a fish? Also, those boots don't make her look much like a queen. That's what I dislike.

Oooh! Sweet. This movie's going to be AWESOME!!

Who are these characters? Is the one in blue the princess in a different costume? If so, I like that one a lot better than the poofy white dress.

Woah, look out peple! The 80's are back, shoulder pads and all.

Nah, this doesn't look half bad. I really like the evil queen's look and the attitude that seems to surround her. And anything with James Marsden can't really be that bad :) I haven't been a big fan of the other animation/real life acting mixes movies Disney has created, but I'm hoping this one will turn me over.

From the looks of these pictures, it just might have what it takes! Costumes from hell, a villainess and lsat but not least construction workers. You can't go wrong there.

That poufy dress is just horrible.....It definately is the worst Princess dress I've ever seen (even tops Usagi's prom princess in the live action Sailor Moon)
It makes the actress look bad too, it makes her look old. also Princesses should be delicate...she doesnt look like that too me.

Too Poofy Princess!

Post by Disney Duster »

I also agree that Princess Giselle's outfit is waaaayyyy to poofy and big. It's probably going to be a little harder to animate than past princess dresses.

And, reyquila, your Super Squirrel avatar has got be one of the best, funniest, coolest avatars I've ever seen. It's pretty genius, too.

uhm, not really. her dress is like an exact copy of Ariel's wedding dress. That wasn't hard to animate. How about Belle's big yellow dress rotating through a CG environment? that was pulled off. This looks easy.

Anyway, I doubt she'll be in that dress throughout the movie.

The blue-ish dress looks like the one she'll be wearing most of the time.

but marketingwize it's brilliant. two dresses... the last 3 disney fairy tale princesses had two dresses as well, a normal one and a formal wedding dress. Looks like they're copying that formula here.
