What was the worst live action disney movie?

Post by PixarFan2006 »

There are a few that I dislike.

RocketMan This is probably the worst disney movie in my book. it was really unfunny and forgettable.

Blank Check Okay, maybe i liked it a little as a kid, but now when i watch it i see how unrealistic the story is.

Max Keeble's Big Move This is pure garbage. nothing but crude humor and tasteless jokes. the second worst disney movie (live action.[/b]

Iron Will
So this is what a coma feels like!

The Devil and Max Devlin
Just painful in every sense!

D2 and D3
The point of these being?

The Big Green
I was actually praying the cast would all die of heart attacks, oh and the fake british accent didn't help much.

Mr Magoo
Ouch

Ten Who Dared
What a mess!

It would definitely be Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. It's a stupid movie with a stupid movie title. I'm not against Lindsay Lohan. I love all of her films except this one. There's nothing special about the movie. It totally sucked. And as the movie goes on, you'll just discover that it ends without even having a plot.

The Country Bears and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen are by far the worst. I'm surprised that most of the ones named above are some of my favorites.

I just remembered another one.
The Country Bears I rented it only once. It was so terrible that i turned it off at about 20 minutes in.

I liked the The Country Bears. :)
I'd say Iron Will.

Um...The Boatniks?

The UD review even calls it the worst Disney film.

Other contenders are:

1. Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen - 'nuff said.

2. The Country Bears and The Haunted Mansion - after the success of POTC, I can see how they wanted to do movies based on attractions. But TCB was laughable, and Haunted Mansion shouldn't have been a comedy. Why couldn't they have done Alien Encounter: The Movie?

3. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - not the worst, lol, just wanted to see if you guys are paying attention. But Snow White has the WORST voice of any Princess. Makes me grind my teeth every time I hear her.

4. Rocketman - I actually like this movie, but still I wonder what possessed Disney to make it.

5. White Fang 2 - WHY???

I've just realized I haven't seen many so here are my least favorite.

Holes - I'm sorry to those who loved but I found it boring, and the plot was really stupid and pointless. It dragged alot.

102 Dalmatians - An abomination. Pointless.

Disney's The Kid - An annoying, really really annoying movie with a really annoying kid.

But...but...it's 102 Dalmatians! One more dalmatian than before! Plus you've got a rehabilitated Cruella! And a talking parrot! And they show clips from Lady and the Tramp! And Oddball! How can anyone not like Oddball?

Um, I think Pirates of the Caribbean would win this. ;)

Okay, now back to reality, I agree with Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, The Lizzie McGuire movie and etc. to the point where I didn't see them at all because I knew they'd suck.

Out of the ones I have seen, 102 Dalmatians has to be the most disappointing because it had so much potential, but threw that away for what was basically a clone of the first movie. The Lady and the Tramp sequence in it is priceless, but that's not enough to save the whole film. The dalmatians are cute, like always, but the rest of this concept is stupid.

The Princess Diaries is a movie that I hate with a passion for screwing up the books as badly as it did, although it is a decent harmless movie if taken completely without regard to those. Not a great movie, not even a particularly good one, but not bad.

I am going to defend Haunted Mansion, because I don't think it's anywhere near the worst live-action piece Disney's done. It's not great either and has its flaws -- it should have been darker, with a Pirates-like tone, and Eddie Murphey was miscast -- but what we did get is pretty decent, if you take it on its merits. And the opening credits prologue scene before Murphey shows up at all was ASTONISHING.

I don't know about worst live-action, but I just saw "Stuck in the Suburbs" tonight and I nominate it for worst DCOM.

Between the live-action "101 Dalmatians" and "The Princess Diaries", I'll have to vote for the latter.

I felt the only thing the film and the book had in common was the title.

Who had the fake British accent? Are you referring to Olivia d'Abo, who actually is British (but spent years convincingly faking an American accent on "The Wonder Years")?

I just caught the last two thirds of Heavyweights on Encore Wam!, what a stupid and boring movie.

I am also going to defend Haunted Mansion, being a fan of Murphy and the ride. I enjoyed it probably a lot more than most people because I thought it brought a nice blend of spooky and funny at the same time. However, I'd say it looses points for too many jump scenes and not-so-scary scary scenes.
