Let me be the first to shake the hand of the Theme Park Forum.
Oh wait. That's NOT it's hand.

Well I posted in the thread saying it was a good idea and said it should be made, so I call the ear!Pasta67 wrote:I'm eager to hear how all of you are planning to divide up the Golden Mickey....
I think it's safe to say what part Loomis gets.
Congrats to everyone else who helped create the theme park forum.

Sorry to be so late to the party! Didn't know the awards ceremony had gotten underway, I got so carried away with "Cars" I forgot to check!Disneykid wrote:Holy crap! I never actually expected to win! ::tears well up:: I'm sorry, let me just have a bite of something to calm myself down...

Ladies and Gentlemen, you join me as a score is about to be settled!
At last year's ceremony you all witnessed the brutal attack by the off-topic forum during the interview following the best forum award.
Well People, prepare for round two!
Joan: So
Off-Topic Forum: So
Joan: We meet again!
Off-Topic Forum: It appears so!
Joan: So the idiots have voted for you to win another award, by the way I'm still gonna sue your ass to recover costs for the work that needed to be fixed after your little attack last year!
Off-Topic Forum: Don't get bitter Joan just because I'm taking home another trophy! Here why don't you hold it for a while, see what one feels like!
Joan: I know what an award feels like! I did win the sour apple award at the 1983 Golden Apples!
Off-Topic Forum: Huh, aptly named too judging by your face!
Joan: Yeah, well I didn't have to share my award with another contestant. I was the best that year
Off-Topic Forum: Hey! Just because It was a tie vote, don't meant I'm not the best!
Joan: Sure Whatever! Now clam or I'll knock your pretty blue skin to the floor!
Off-Topic Forum: Your one to talk about skin, when I knocked yours to the floor last year, it trailed 14 feet behind you!
Joan: I'm gonna...well look who's here it's the joint winner the Theme Parks forum!
Theme Parks Forum: Hey Joan, love the hair.
Joan: Finally, someone around here who respects celebrity royalty!
Theme Parks Forum: I just came here to show off my award!
Off-Topic Forum: Yeah well I got one last year, so nah!
Theme Parks Forum: Yeah but I also picked up some gold in the best forum idea of the year category, so that makes two for me too!
Off-Topic Forum: Yeah that's two apiece, you're no better than me!
Theme Parks Forum: Yeah well that's where your wrong! You've been arond since 2003, whereas I am young and fresh, your on your way out old man! Everyone knows that these days you only count if your young and fresh faced, they probably only voted for you because your about to kick the bucket!
Off-Topic Forum: But...
Theme Parks Forum: Plus there's the fact that so many people have posted in you that the bandwidth of your waist in off the scale, whereas I'm slim and lithe!
Off Topic Forum: Why you little...
(Off-Topic Forum lashes out wildly at Theme Parks Forum and knocks his award to floor)
Theme Parks Forum: OH! You bent my mouse you bastard!
(Theme Parks Forum attacks Off-Topic Forum and large brawl erupts!)
Joan: Well it looks like that wise ass has gotten a taste of his own medicine and I'm clearly not needed here.
Oh no... Disney Princess has just been dragged in by her hair!
I'll get you untangled... Crap I've been socked in the face again...
back to the ceremony!

To present our next award, we're fortunate enough to have a true guru of music on hand. Please welcome Mr. Dave Wadding!
Walt Disney himself believed in the power of music in his productions. From the Silly Symphonies series of shorts, to the all-music feature Fantasia, through the catchy Sherman Bros. compositions of the 60’s and on into the 90’s with many great inclusions from the likes of Howard Ashman, Alan Menken (sp??), Tim Rice, Elton John, Phil Collins and others, Disney movies contain some of the most recognizable songs in music. However, due to such a prolific output of tunes, we as consumers sometimes need guidance in relation to how and what product we should spend our hard earned dollars on. The nominees for Site CD Review of the Year are:
The Cheetah Girls - Cheetah-licious Christmas by Aaron Wallace
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe: Soundtrack by Luke
Chicken Little: Soundtrack by Luke
DEVO 2.0 - DEV2.0 by Luke
DisneyRemixMania by Aaron Wallace
High School Musical: Soundtrack by Aaron Wallace
The Muppet Christmas Carol: Special Anniversary Edition Soundtrack by Luke
Walt Disney Takes You to Disneyland by Renata Joy
And the winner is….The Musical History of Di….er…
The Site CD Review of the Year REALLY goes to:

&
High School Musical: Soundtrack

This is Luke's 10th Golden Mickey award and his 3rd for a site review. This is AwallaceUNC's 4th Golden Mickey and his 1st for a site review.

Thanks, Dave, for a great speech and to everyone who voted for the HSM soundtrack!
More importantly, congratulations to Luke for a truly terrific Narnia soundtrack review!
...Folks, join us back here on MONDAY (I'm going out of town!) when the 3rd Annual UD Forum Awards will resume LIVE with the presentation of the Signature of the Year award plus a live musical performance! In the meantime, everyone is invited out to the red carpet for an intermission, where our plastic-y correspondent Joan Rivers continues to deliver the juiciest scoop in town!

Even though I detested this film, the soundtrack was still pretty solid. Five For Fighting and Barenaked Ladies are two of the best bands around, even if they aren't hard rock. The one flaw with the soundtrack: Cheetah Girls. *hurls*Timon/Pumbaa fan wrote:<strike>WOW! A TIE and Chicken Little STILL doesn't get an award!
