Definitely - Jeremy Brett is THE real Sherlock Holmes, IMO.

It was five years, from April 1940 until those happy days in May 1945. "Everyone" here knows that and we don't really forget. But there were countries and peoples who had it a lot worse than most Norwegians - after all, if AH had won the war and had it his way, we would have been next only to the "master race"...

As for 'Allo 'Allo, I don't find it offensive - and I'm pretty sure the general population doesn't, either. The series was very popular here. But, admittedly, it somehow balances on a very fine edge.

Well I feel sheepish. BAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I don't have any season sets of anything. I've been thinking, a really long time, about getting the season sets of Degrassi: The Next Generation Seasons 1-3, but I don't have any money because I'm saving up for TLM PE, and FH 25th Anniversary Edition. But I think I see those Degrassi: The Next Generation season sets, in the near future (I put them on my Christmas/Birthday list ).
