House of Mouse DVD!!!!!!!

Post by Kram Nebuer »

For security purposes, I cannot reveal who sent this to me, but a secret source at Buena Vista Home Entertainment mailed me a promotional copy of a House of Mouse DVD!!!!! If you had registered any of the House of Mouse movies on DisneyDVD.com, you may have been put in a random mailing list to get this. It came with a survey, but I forgot to take a picture or scan before I mailed it back, but I did get a picture of the disc art!!

Image

The disc contains the pilot episode already found on the Mickey Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse DVD as well as a few random episodes like Black and White Day and the one with Big Bad Wolf Daddy as the musical guest. I have a DVD-R in my laptop, but whenever I try to take a screenshot, it just turns out to be a black screen.

This is so exciting, I can't wait until an actual House of Mouse DVD set is released!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D :D :D

I would type a reply. But I've just fainted from excitement. :D or would that be a foolish thing to do?
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I guess I could be interested in House of Mouse.

A season/complete series set would be preferable, though.

Me too, I just wish I hadn't cracked my head open on the table when i fainted! If anyone wants me I'll be at the nearest hospital!

I still have enough strength for a whoop! however!

Oh man, Kram. You had me excited and I was about to ask what kind of questions the survey held...but then I remembered something. And now I shall cry at the thought of Netty crying.

Why would this be a particularly unbelievable thing?

Yes, I figured that was what Luke was alluding to, but would there be anything apart from that?

I must be the most cynical person in the world.

I assumed every entertainment-related story yesterday was an April Fool's prank.

I never thought it was true because I have the Soundtrack and that is the cover art (other than paniting over the Walt Disney Records logo and copywrite that says "Walt Disney Records" aswell). Nice Try though.

I forgot to mention...the woman at BVHE signed the survey with the pen name "Lirpa Loof"

:P

:) Wow, good job, Luke, you were first to realize what day it was! Lol!

I'm incredibly sorry to anyone who believed this malarky, but I could not resist!  Please do no cry, Netty :( ! Though...after reading your post again, I think you realized the phoniness of my post, lol.

 Good work, JiminyCrick! That is indeed the disc art for the soundtrack of the show (with logos and such painted out...see below). I knew someone on this board had to have had that CD, lol, though I didn't realize it would take this long for someone to prove me wrong.

Image

I had actually wanted to post a picture of the disc a long time ago then thought how fun it would be to pull an April Fools' Day joke with it. You don't know how long this scheme was brewing in my brain, lol. Again, I'm incredibly sorry to the poor unfortunate souls that fell for it and I applaud those who realized the sad news that we really aren't getting a House of Mouse show DVD anytime soon...

On a more serious note (aka I'm not kidding this time)...I think this would be awesome disc art for a DVD! It's very simple and also really awesome. Another thing, I can't take screenshots on my computer and I can't figure out how! I've been trying the Prnt Scrn button when I'm watching a DVD and all I get is a black screen when I paste into Paint or something. Is there other ways to take screen captures of a DVD while it is playing?

You'll have to use the frame capture function built into your DVD player software. If there's no such function, you may want to switch to some other player software. For example WinDVD and Nero Showtime both have it, and I think that Power DVD does too, even though I haven't used that program for a while.

Good job. I was pretty sure it was the soundtrack in the picture, but I didn't want to ruin what was clearly a well-thought-out prank! Move over, Pals, UD's got a new prankster!

Luke this wasn't a prank everyone knew it was fake.
Anyways I was thinking about a big master prank but I delayed it because I have a personal life, man.
Maybe I'll be at my top of my game next year when I'm not to busy.
Anyways UD is getting pretty lame.

Justin, UD is lame now because it has no good contest and I can't ever do a UD review....
Also no good DVD release are coming out right now....until The Little Mermaid: PE comes out.

No, joke it's lame like lets see Rugrats all grown up.

Are you telling me DC's 52 and DC's One Year Later is a joke.
Not even Marvel's Ultimates 3 and Marvel's Civil War isn't a joke.
BTW I don't like The New Teen Titans lineup of Robin, Wondergirl, Cyborg, Kid Devil and Ravenger IV.
They killed of Starfire, Superboy, Tempest (Aqualad) and Kid Flash II
Why the heck is Deathstroke Terminator daughter on the Teen Titans...must have to do with Nightwing trade he made with Slade (Deathstroke)....
Even the Outsiders and JSA hasn't changed that much.
Oh yeah the New Blue Beatle looks awesome!!!
