"Donald Duck Presents" Intro

Post by musicradio77 »

I found it on GAC Forums that Jon Cooke was psoted a link for an intro to "Donald Duck Presents". I remember going back when I was a kid, I do remember the intro a lot before "Donald's Quack Attack" came on. And guess what, I found it this intro off of YouTube.com. That brings back memories of watching the good old Disney Channel. I missed that show a lot. Thanks to the Disney Treasures and Classic Cartoon Favorites DVD's. Here it is.

Speaking of intros, let me explain about this show in my view. "Donald Duck Presents" was a half hour show for the old Disney Channel back in 1983, that was 23 years ago. It features a series of Disney cartoons with Donald Duck as well as Mickey, Pluto, Goofy and Minnie. The show produced 125 episodes made for Disney Channel. During its second run on "Donald Duck Presents" the cartoon features a non-Disney segment entitled "The Fabulous Flesicher Folio", a series of Flesicher's Color Classics and Famous Screen Songs both produced by Kit Parker Films and it was not made by Disney because Disney had released three volumes of the Kit Parker's "Fabulous Flesicher Folio" series was featured on "Donald Duck Presents" on VHS for a short time back in 1984, but it's out of print. I missed "Donald Duck Presents". I'm not really sure that the opening would exist on one of the "Chronological Donald" DVD's. That would refreshens my memory. HAs anybody remember that show?

Can you run run that sentence by me one more time, as it sounds interesting but I am unclear to exactly what you are saying. :)

Wow...I remember this well...can't believe it's been 23 years! It definitely brings back memories. Thanks for sharing!

*sigh*....I wish the Disney Channel was still as entertaining to its adult fans as it is to tweens.
