There are actually more than two parking lots at Disneyland, but I assume you mean the two main ones: the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure and the Timon Parking Lot. Mickey & Friends is the main one and includes a direct connection from I-5 south. I've heard, but not confirmed, that this is the largest parking structure in the world. A tram takes you to the west side of the Esplanade. Timon is entered off of Harbor (or Disney Way) near the entrance of the "old" parking lot (where DCA is now). A tram takes you to the east side of the Esplande. Timon is slowing being eaten away by DCA (first Flik's Fun Fair and then Tower of Terror). Other parking lots include Pumbaa (overflow lot near Timon for busy days), Pinocchio (next to Mickey & Friends, overflow lot, maybe...I don't know), Downtown Disney lots (3 hours free, additional time with validation), and the Disneyland Hotels' parking lots. This map gives you a general idea of the various parking lots.

The cost to park is the same at either of the main lots: $10 per day (I believe exit and re-entry is allowed). Park in the one you find the most convenient.

Thanks for the information Bill, I was wondering about it because this Mickey and Friends park been that huge, it is some times (many times lately) a tire rout especially with a boy in the shoulders, I though may be the Timon park been a small one and no too popular could make a nice option, but the only time we have been tried we where re-directed to the main one, then I do not know if that park is available for every one or if it is a restricted one...,
and yes, one can enter to the main park through a ramp on I-5 south in the car pool line, after the first light one have the chance to skip the ball road, that is actually a convenient movement if one are in a hurry.

It seems like the Timon parking lot is open but we have been tried twice and we were redirect to the Mickey and friends one, kind of strange, I saw people ready for work inside the lot, then it have to be open at some point...probably opens late or it is restricted for some people...well the main parking is not that bad...some times...actually very few times.
