I think the number of posts is less important than the regularity and substance of them. I don't think anyone would want to be assigned someone who has posted 1000 one-word replies in Polls & Games, for instance, but by this regulation, such a member would be able to participate. A more reasonable guideline may be anyone suspected of creating multiple accounts in the past would be a good one not to allow. (Not going to drop any names here, but I blame myself for permitting this participant.) Or someone who has posted 20 or less times in the past year, perhaps. And then there is someone like Pluto Region 1 who joined just a couple of months ago who I feel like we've gotten to know and obviously came through in Secret Santa, which proves how it'd be wrong to exclude by registration date.
In any event, it's all something merely to ponder for the next 11 months. I can't believe that people would capitalize upon something like this to potentially get a free gift with no strings attached. Some holiday spirit, huh?
I'm going to give until the end of Tuesday (no mail delivery today) for the potential deadbeats' presents or e-mail explanations to come through. If/when they don't show up (and I'm not holding much hope for any but one of the remaining un-gifted), the offenders will be banned and as stated in the past, those who have yet to be recognized will be.
Merry Christmas!

Oh yes, and I'm glad to hear that people received and liked the cards. With such a large number of participants, it was a little time-consuming to write personal greetings, but something I felt was worth doing and I hoped would be appreciated. Some of the drawings were pretty bad - for that I apologize!
