Got a manila package at the door today, and eagerly opened it to find... the Gargoyles DVD I won from UD.

Haven't received my gift yet, but waiting patiently! I believe we haven't heard from lolopimp, disneyfella, Grunches, or orestes. - one way or the other. :P

I managed to drag myself to the mailbox this afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to find an Amazon box in it. Disneykid got me the Walt - The Man Behind the Myth dvd. It really brightened my day. Now, I have something to watch while I get over my cold. Thanks Kelvin, and I hope you have a Merry Christmas! :santa:

You're very welcome, and a merry Christmas to you, too! :D I guess it's a good thing the DVD didn't ship with the book, otherwise you'd have nothing new to watch to distract you from being sick. Would this count as a Christmas miracle? ;)

To the last in that group, I'd like you to know that the requested image of Mr. Steve Guttenberg is now residing on the fridge next to the card. See here:

I forgot that Aaron actually included that! Glad to see you enjoyed it!

As of Wednesday I'm still waiting... The holidays have kept me distracted, though. I guess lateness isn't something I'm too worried about.

You're welcome! I really like the card, the old fashioned Mickey looked cool on a sparkly Xmas card. The reindeer stuffed animal was just cool, and it came with candy canes! and of course, the Harry Potter and Chicken Little stickers are just freakin' awesome! I'm glad you liked it all! Merry Christmas!

Well on my way home from school today my Dad said "Oh and by the way-- a package for you came from England today." I knew in a second it must be my UD secret Santa. I eagerly came home ran in the door and saw a package. I looked at the name ran upstairs sat down and opened it. Inside laid a very nicely wrapped gift and a nice little note. My secret Santa is no other than BonusMage! After Reading the note I opened the gift wrapping to find the R1 copies of Saturday Night Live: The Best of Dana Carvey & Bedknobs and Broomsticks on DVD! :D THANK YOU SO MUCH ADAM! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! :santa:

Wow, today was just awesome! After a very boring week, today was just a huge suprise! About an hour ago, I was sitting in my romm cleaning up listening to some music on the radio when they announced that you can call to win a prize. I didnt know what the contest was for but I called anyway for the heck of it. I WON!!! I got a guaranteed gift certificate for $100! and my name in a drawing for $2500!!! Not only that, but I went downstairs after this, and saw that the mail had delievered me a "package". I opened it and discovered that my Secret Santa was the same person I had just sent my gift too, Grunches! He got me the Muppets in Space DVD and the Muppets Take Manhattan DVDs! They werent on my list, but only because they wouldnt fit! He read my mind! I needed these to complete my Muppet collection! Thank you sooo much! I love Christmas!!

Several participants (including me... *pout*) have yet to receive their gifts, and/or notify that they have sent or received their presents. Just a few loose ends remain, though - otherwise the 2005 Secret Santa has been quite a success! :)

It's looking like we'll probably have two deadbeats this year (a new UD Secret Santa record!) and you can guess who those are based on the participants who haven't posted since November. Tomorrow will be a final chance for them to come through (via the USPS), but fortunately at least one of the potential deadbeats has been foiled and if they don't come through, their assignment will be reassigned to one who has been tardy but not a deadbeat, leaving me with just one person to play not-so-secret Santa to. To the three others of you who have not received anything, fear not - you will be taken care of, even if it's unfortunately a little after Christmas. At least one of you SHOULD be getting something soon, whether it's today, tomorrow, or early next week.

Merry Christmas! :santa:

Reading through this thread, going in order, those who fulfilled Secret Santa (both give and receive):

MinnieMe - received from Pals, gave to Krystal
DisneyLover - received from DaveWadding, gave to LucyLover1986
DaveWadding - received from ???, gave to DisneyLover
Wonderlicious - received from Aaron, gave to dvdjunkie
Zoltack - received from Escapay, gave to Disneykid
davina - received from GOGOinVegas, gave to Just Myself
CJ - received from Disneykid, gave to Disney Guru
dvdjunkie - received from Wonderlicious, gave to The Little Merman
Just Myself - received from davina, gave to Disneybell
Pals - received from BrandonH, gave to MinnieMe
Disneykid - received form Zoltack, gave to CJ
BrandonH - received from PlutoRegion1, gave to Pals
PlutoRegion1 - received from Paka, gave to BrandonH
Lucylover1986 - received from Disney Lover, gave to BonusMage
Mermaid Kelly - received from Krystal, gave to Aaron
The Little Merman - received from dvdjunkie, gave to Tinkerbell
Krystal - received from MinnieMe, gave to Mermaid Kelly

Escapay - received from Tinkerbell, gave to Zoltack
BonusMage - received from Lucylover1986, gave to JiminyCrick91
Aaron - received from Mermaid Kelly, gave to Wonderlicious

The following posted that they have received, but I can't figure out who gave to who unless I missed reading something:

Disney Guru - received from CJ, gave to ??? (posted that it's sent)
Disneybell - received from Just Myself, gave to ???
pinkrenata - received from MickeyMouseBoy, gave to ???

The following posted that they have given, but not received:
disneyfella
Paka - gave to Pluta
MickeyMouseBoy - gave to pinkrenata

The following haven't posted anything at all:
lolopimp
orestes.

And the following is just too uncanny to be a coincidence:
SofaKing - received from Grunches, gave to Grunches
Grunches - received from Sofaking, gave to Sofaking

DaveWadding got a gift from a still anonymous Secret Santa, if that fits anywhere...

So I take it you'll cover tracking all Secret Santa activity for me next year, Escapay? :)

I'm not sure why DaveWadding's Secret Santa remains anonymous, but yes, your information seems all correct. There's really just the two completely disappeared / non-responsive members, their two shafted recipients, and one who is waiting on USPS. Things would be easier if people respond to e-mails and update when they receive anything, but all things considered, it's mostly a success and I hope most feel that way (though getting assigned to a deadbeat has got to stink). Next year I must promise to A) start it later and B) screen participants more carefully so that only regular posters and those who have participated in the past can join.
