The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper

Post by JiminyCrick91 »

When I saw "Tim Burton's Corpse Bride" I was watching the ads at the start and saw the same old (but lovely) ad for "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" but wait there was SOMETHING diffrent near the end. It added that a short film with the penguins from "Madagascar" will also a christmas "Mini-Movie" playing with it and I checked MANY sites and I cant get a THING. Does anyone know about it?

I'd love to see that Penguin short movie, but I don't want to see Wallace and Gromit. :P

Maybe they should include it with the Madagascar DVD?
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

Well ANOTHER revised cover art shows us that the DVD of the film "Madagascar" WILL in fact have the short film on it.

That's good news. I wonder if they will also include the short with the DVD release of Wallace and Gromit.

Not in the UK. They want you to pay extra for a 2 disc set if you want the Penguin short :(

As far as I know, its the same content, only spread over 2 discs, so they can charge more (I belive all or some of the additional penguin extras are the surprise when you crack the penguins code in one of the mini games). Remember the asking price for the 2 disc set is approximately $45!

It was officially announced earlier today (there's only 30 mins on the second disc  )

Family films might be some of the least offensive or riskay right now, but after Shrek was so bad (the first only), I have to say- I haven't been giving these movies the time of day. I mean, what ever happened to (what was it called?) Valiant? I've been telling everyone I know, see Chicken Little, forget the Madagascar nonsense.

Saw Wallace & Gromit (what's wrong with Wallace & Gromit?!). I liked the movie. The penguins are hilarious. I like the penguin that's obsessed with bombs. The Madagascar DVD will have the Penguin short for those that don't want to see Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-rabbit.

Wallace & Gromit also isn't exactly my cup of tea, the live-action British comedy is much funnier in my opinion. It's great that they're into claymation but it's kind of their only thing that makes the stories more interesting is the fact the film's in claymation. But that doesn't make Madagascar any less overrated.
