TV Episodes that visit Disneyland or Disney World

Post by Papa Bear »

I was just watching Boy meets World Season 3 the other day and while watching the episode where they go to Disney World I was trying to rember what other shows have had the charecters go to either Disney World or Disneyland, So if any of you can think of shows with episodes of the charecters at one of the Happiest places in the world, please reply. Here are the ones I can think of:

Boy Meets World, Season 3
Step By Step
And
Family Matters

You forget the classic Full House 2-parter in which Michelle becomes princess of the park for a day, and then subsequently gets lost, or runs away, or something to that extent, and DJ sees Steve dressed up as a number of Disney heroes because she misses him so much.

In an episode of The Golden Girls, Dorothy takes Sophia to WDW, but not to go on rides. Instead, Dorothy wants to go through old letters, photo albums, and slides, which upsets Sophia, who decides to leave Dorothy and go to Space Mountain. Unfortunately, it rains. Of course, they still could have gone, since Space Mountain is an indoor coaster, but they don't know this, and instead, Sophia broods while in the bar listening to a guy sing It's A Small World.

In another episode of The Golden Girls, Sophia and Max Weinstock have their honeymoon at WDW, but as Max said, "There were rides?", and as Sophia put it, "We had a lot of fun, and didn't leave the hotel room!"

On The George Lopez Show, they went to Disneyland and California Adventure, and we learn that it was George's first time because his mother never took him there.

I'd like to see Alias or Desperate Housewives visit WDW or DLR, lol. Can you imagine Sydney Bristow running around MK trying to defuse a bomb? Or Susan and Mike going at it in the darkness of Peter Pan's Flight?

Roseanne. I watched it about a month or two ago on Nick at Night. Really funny episode. Darlene remembers she's in love with Winnie the Pooh.

I LOVE the Roseanne Disney World episode... it's really funny!

And the Full House one is pretty good too. And it's funny because DJ sees Steve as Aladdin towards the beginning and... Steve IS Aladdin (he does the voice of Aladdin! :D )
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

I remember a "Blossom" episode were all of them would go to Disneyland, and in the end the guys would hang out with the Disney princess (Nick hang out with Belle, hehehe). I remember a funny scene with Joey, where he asked Cinderella about the names of the Princes. It was a fun episode.

Yeah I remember they hid a bunch of hidden Mickeys in that show and whoever found the most hidden Mickeys would win a trip to Disneyland! I tried, it but I didn't win! :P

I remember having a substitute teacher who wrote screenplays. And he said one of the things he wrote was an episode of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" when she goes to Walt Disney World(how can you guys keep forgetting the Walt! :headshake: :P ). That's all I can think of, besides the ones mentioned already.

There was one but it focused on AK most of all because it was just opening.

I talk about this in my next podcast, which I'm re-recording for the 100th time because it always gets too long or too out of date before I post it, or set back by tech problems.

*Full House (2 episodes)
*Family Matters (2 episodes)
*Boy Meets World
*Step by Step (2 episodes)
*Roseanne (2 episodes- 1 in park, 1 not in park)
*The Golden Girls (no actual park footage)
*Sabrina the Teenage Witch
*The George Lopez Show
*The Simpsons (at least 2 episodes)

...I think that's a complete list. Any I'm missing?

I wanted to make note about Roseanne...

The episode "We're Going to Disney World" takes place at the house and on a plane. While "Disney World War 3" is part 2 that does take place in the park.

I thought I remember it being the Grand Floridian (because it's the one resort I'd never want to stay at).

If they didn't actually stay there they were at least there for part of the episode(s).

Just found this link!

http://www.bartlett-sloan.net/tv/agenda ... genda=soon

The reruns of the Boy Meets World and Full House will be airing this coming Friday on the Disney Channel & ABC Family Channel respectively(ok so BMW is on at 2am, but FH is on in the afternoon!).

There's also a listing of a ton of shows on the Travel Channel that feature Disney coming up.

It's definitely Grand Floridian. Every so often a bunch of us would walk through it and pretend we were staying there. And when my family came down, we'd walk through it and see all the spots that they used in the Full House episode (like the steps where DJ comes down and Steve trips...)
