Luke wrote:Good stuff. I know Walt is quoted as saying "You can't top pigs with pigs", but he did make some sequels to "The Three Little Pigs" and there's about to be a third "I Love the '80s" series on VH-1 soon, so, Escapay...clearly a thing as good as the WTF series shouldn't be out of the question of revisiting, even if the sequel-haters will complain that the second series isn't as good as the first, and others will praise it just because they respect that the sequel-makers put effort into what they do.

I'm pretty sure you know what I'm saying and with 178,090 posts on the forum (even after some recent Polls & Games vote cleanup)...there's plenty of ripe material without even a need to double-dip.
LOL, maybe I'll do WTF: Strikes Back! one day. There are definitely a lot of open mouth insert foot quotes here at UD!

In the meantime, my WTF-less siggy remains.

I just came across one not two minutes ago in this section. Talk about a fluff post.

Some of them were funny. I guess from the poster standpoint, if it was yours that was quoted, I can see why it might not be liked.

New Siggy Series! Yay!

Old School UD #1: Enchanted Christmas

I just ask that if you click the link and read it, DO NOT REPLY TO IT. It's old school in that it's one of those hot topics we talked about for days, then we let it die. Bringing it back will not only make it no longer old school material, but rather pointless if you just bring it back to say "OMG, this is such a funny topic!". So unless you REALLY REALLY REALLY have something to add that will spark future discussion, do not reply to the old school topic!

Same for chaychay's The Best of... series.

chaychay102royal wrote:After months and months of avatar links, I have finally completely changed my siggy. It is now a collection of Teede links including her GMD2 thread that was so long and so useless that Luke finally moved it to the Polls and Games where it finally died.

I hope to continue this "memorable links" idea with one or more of the following:
1. A Best Of collection for DisneyHollywood
2. A Best Of collection for Alan's slipcover obsession
3. A Best Of collection for scandalous threads
Any other ideas?
Got my idea for a new siggy from yours, chaychay, so I can't take credit for Old School UD. Anyways, more suggestions for your best of series:

The Best of Tangela (though that may be a problem)
The Best of Religious Discussions
The Best of The Many Lists of Favorite Animated Classics (we have like 10 topics on this in GD)
The Best of Song of the South
The Best of Fun and Games (links to "What UDers would never say", "Recast a Disney movie with UDers", etc.)
The Best of Wondering when Little Mermaid will come out

It's funny, Escapay, I can't really take credit for my "best of" series because I used WTF quotes as an inspiration.

Oh well, we really need to credit everyone at UD, because if not for their wit and wisdom and open-mouth-insert-foot-isms, we wouldn't have kickass siggies!

With Gargoyles Season 2 Vol. I, Ducktales, and Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers coming to dvd this year,
I have decided to pay tribute to the Disney Afternoon in my siggy.

In the winter of 1921, my grandparents, Salie (Sale-ee) and Bill Utz began cooking handmade potato chips in the summer kitchen of our home in Hanover, Pennsylvania. After cooking and packaging the chips by hand, Bill took them to local stores, fairs and farmer's markets in the area.

As their business grew, a new and larger hand cooker was installed. By the 1930's, the first automatic cookers went into operation in a building behind our house. Salie and Bill Utz saw the company grow steadily until their passing in the 1960's.

Today, family members still run the business and insist upon producing only the finest quality products from the best available ingrediants.

It is in this tradition, that we bring you GRANDMA UTZ's, made with the same care and pride that Salie and Bill had back in 1921.

These chips are made from slightly thicker and unrinsed slices that are hand stirred in individual batches. The finished chips are drained, lightly salted while still warm, cooled and then sealed in protective laminated packaging materials, unlike the plain paper bags that Salie and Bill first used.

We hope you enjoy them as mush as we enjoy bringing them to you.

I've been seeing so many timelines in people's signatures lately (and not just on this forum), so I thought I'd make fun of this new trend for a while.

Hence my new siggy.
