Any "Waves" you haven't got, even though the next

Post by littlefuzzy »

I have been getting all of the WD Treasures, but I still haven't picked up the last wave. I just have been getting other DVDs, and haven't budgeted the money for the Treasures.

The same (almost) applies to the Miyazaki films. I have the last wave, but not the current one. I did own all of them before this wave, but I sent Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky, and Spirited Away to my nieces. I am planning on picking 2 of them up again with the Buy 3 Get 1 Free deal on the last wave (one set for me, one set for my nieces.) Of course, I will get the third one as well.

Well, I don't have any wave I'd like to collect, except the Looney Tunes shorts. I have none of those yet!

There are a few Treasures I'd love to own, but they're not a high priority righy now.

I first got into the Treasures after Wave 3 was released, however luckily I was still able to find Wave 2 in stores after enough searching. I had to get both the titles that I wanted from Wave 1 off Ebay. The Treasures I didn't bother buying (due to lack of interest) were Davy Crockett: The Complete Televised Series, Disneyland USA, and The Mickey Mouse Club.

I currently have all the Ghibli waves, including the newest one.

For the Walt Disney Treasures I only own all of wave 3. I have one movie from wave 1 and one movie from wave 4. I have give up of trying to get all of the treasures, since even when they are released they are hard to find. I'll just wait until Blue Ray (or whatever new version there will be) and get them when they are re-released on that version. I really want Behind the Scenes, because I really want The Reluctant Dragon, though.
Best Movies of 2009:

3. The Hurt Locker
4. Coraline

I can proudly say I have each and every Walt Disney Treasure to date. I have been getting them every Christmas (and in the late wave I would say that was a late gift :P ). I think also my parents had bought 2 doubles (because they had bought 2 and accidentally ordered the others AND these two aging) so we have an extra Davy Crockett: The Complete Televised Series and Silly Symphony (which I still don’t know what were doing with).

I started out with just the Silly Symphonies Treasure not long after it was released (ordered it thru Disney for Christmas). I really didn't care about owning the others.

Next, I think I got Complete Goofy. Before long, I was trying to get others, as I wanted to own the Mickey, Donald, etc. that I watched when younger -- and could no longer watch on the Disney Channels.

I have all but Tomorrowland and Pluto Vol. 1. I plan to get all of Wave 5 because I'm interested in them. As far as having the complete collection, I'm 50/50 on that.... I could do it, but there's only so much money!

Besides the Treasures, there are others I'd like to get: The Muppets Season 1, The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, Cinderella, the Christmas DVD (with Small One), Revenge of the Sith, and Dick Van Dyke seasons.

Of course there are always other titles in the back of my mind: Alice in Wonderland, The Apple Dumpling Gang, Greenfriars Bobby, The Parent Trap 1 & 2 pkg....
