Scrubs: Season Two Artwork

Post by SofaKing381222 »

Of course, this is Region 2, but our artwork is bound to be like it, right? And they have the release date of 12th of September 2005 so ours cant be far off right?

That really could have been better. Any idea why J.D. is wearing green scrubs? I hope region 1's is way better.

I love the show, and I love the artwork Adam. Thanks for posting this!
But there is a few questions I have about the show, like- what are scrubs? I don't get it! I've been watching the show since it aired, but I've never been bothered to actually ask someone what the title of the show meant! Also, what is a doorag? I'm not sure of the spelling of the word, but in a recent episode that aired over here in Australia, Turk kept asking Carla to find him his lucky doorag. What is it!
Okay. Now I've got that off my chest. Thanks again Adam for posting the art, and I think that I'm the only one who likes it!

Scrubs are the outfits that J.D., Turk, Elliot, and Carla wear at the hospital.

This is a doorag.

Isn't it also a slang term for a newbie doctor?

James, you're not alone. I like the cover! I like the theme that each season (DVD cover) is starting to carry on. Stuff the doctors (and the pantients) hate to do.

Season 1: Nasty Old "what-is-it?" medicine
Season 2: Drop you're pants and bend over
Season 3: ???- Turn your head and cough?

Thanks Pasta and Adam! Those questions probably sounded so stupid, but I don't watch much medical shows! And we call doorags 'Bandanas', in Australia. And do you mean the themes on the cover, or themes that the covers transport from each season? I haven't noticed the themes in each season, but I don't really see it often. I think that I've seen about 10 episodes altogether.

I believe the silly 'in your face' artwork really reflects the feeling of the show. Like the 1st set, awesome cover art!

We have bandanas as well but do rags are smoother and some are even sliky. But bandanas are most of the time are like T-shirt fabric .Also he means themes on the cover not that the "themes that the covers transport from each season".

I like this cover art more than season one, but both are seriously flawed. I can stand the second season art, but the green stuff from the first season is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. If I didn't love Scrubs so much I never would have bought the first season set (lol yes, I really do think it's that awful).

A probable release date for a season 2 of Scrubs has been sent into TVShowsOnDVD.com, by one of their retail friends, and it looks like it will most probably be released on November 15th, just in time for Christmas.
Here's the link- http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3706
Enjoy!

FINAL COVER ART!!!

I WAS RIGHT!!!

Why is JD on the Spine!!! There needs to be a different character on the spine for each season!!!! Put Turk on the Spine!! Or even Elliot!!!

Why does J.D have green scrubs, though?! He never wears green; he's not a surgeon. Elliot's wearing white, another wierd choise considering she's never worn white scrubs.

This thread's just been continuity errored. *stamps*
