Why would they need a sequel! It's one thing to make a sequel to the films Disney wasn't around, but do we need a bunch of crappy sequels to classic!?!

I especially find Snow White to be a classic like Gone With the Wind, Casablanca and E.T. You just don't make sequels to classic. But Disney just wants to find the cheap way of getting money!

Yet Bob Iger will soon respect the classic and promise to never make another cheapquel and to put time and quality in your work and never think about money, but about the audience!   Like that will ever happen!

Ooo interesting. I heard that the reason Disney is making so many cheapquels and crappy movies is because Pixar wants them to fill a quota with a new contract. Is this true?....or just a stupid rumor? :P

I don't want a sequel to Snow White. It was the first animated classic that Disney released. It doesn't need a sequel.

BTW, Gone With The Wind does have a sequel. It's called Scarlett.

Yeah, you know how many young'uns were upset that Fiona remained a fat, ugly ogre at the end of Shrek 2? Seriously!

Does anybody else remember the TV show "The Charmings"?

http://amazon.imdb.com/title/tt0092332/
Snow White, Prince Charming and their family are transported through time to the present day. They try to fit into normal society, despite their unfamiliarity with technology.

Mr.Walt Disney himself said he whould NEVER let a sequel of snow white come out of the place.Since that was documented I think that may have played a part in its cancellion.

Teede, you may be interested in checking out some internet fan fiction written by Disney fans about Disney. Some people may have written short stories and poems about characters from various Disney films (look on fanfiction.net for a database), including their extended adventures after the first film. Snow White may have had extensions with fan fiction, so you could find out what happened after the happy ending of the first film with certain fan's imaginative pieces.

You know, I think that I vaguely remember that being screened on UK TV once (bare in mind that I was only a toddler). I seem to remember a programme with an intro of the retelling of the original tale, and then a cut to a typical American sit-com. I wondered what programme that was (I assumed for some odd reason that it was The Cosby Show :shifty:), and thanks to LRH, I may know for certain what the show was! Thanks! :D

Here's my treatment for Snow White 2:

The Wicked Queen's evil ugly old sister finds out that the dwarfs killed the Queen and plots revenge against everyone. She poisons Snow White with chlamydia and it causes her to go into a diabetic coma. Now, the dwarfs must brew her up a special cure which involves going far away to get the start ingredient, fungus growing on the thong Christina Aguilera wore in her Dirrty video. They make the brew, Snow White comes back to life. The Queen's sister is outraged and gives everyone crabs. Turns out the brew with the addition of lichens growing on a babboon's ass will take care of crabs. Eventually, the Queen's sister, voiced by Martha Stewart BTW, will make a poison out of 3 inches of twine, a lettuce leaf, 12 gallons of boiling water, and cloves. Snow White finds out, bitchslaps the Queen's sister, and then forces her to drink the poison. She dies and the Prince comes out from some crack in the wall. Then they all strip to barely any clothes and do a performance of Dirrty to pay tribute to the thong that saved their lives the first time, all while wearing rubber babboon asses as a tribute to the ingredient that took away their crabs. Go to credits, where a new pop song, The Dirrty Yodel Song, performed by Raven Symone, plays.

It'll be a Disney Classic, I promise. :D

No problem. The intro actually followed the Disney verison closely. The hole that the Queen fell into wasn't bottomless just very deep. When the Queen finally reached the bottom she was pissed. The Queen being a stereotypical Mother in law was hilarious. I haven't seen the show in years though. I would buy it if it came out on DVD in a second.

eh... i never really liked Disney's character of Snow White... maybe it was the way she was drawn? So a sequal wouldn't really affect me.
However, I think that Happilly Ever After is one of the best animated movies ever. Sure it was badly animated, was corny, and was a sequel, but I really enjoyed it. I bet the only real reason that Disney halted it from it's original release date and from using the Seven Dwarves is because they were jealous that they hadn't come up with that quircky plot first.

See. luc likes a Snow White sequel too. I knew you like Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs II: The Sequel that you can tell Disney about Snow White sequel will be the last sequel after all the sequels were made such as Robin Hood 2, The Great Mouse Detective 2, The Black Cauldron 2, Home On The Range 2, Alice In Wonderland 2, The Sword In The Stone 2, Pinnochio 2, and The Adventures Of Ichabod And Mr. Toad and Briar Rabbit 2 too and then they will be no more sequels that you always does luc.
