Newsletter question
Luke,
I was wondering if there has been a newsletter since 6/14, because I haven't received one. I thought maybe I had deleted my account or something. Is the newsletter monthly, or just whenever you feel like it? I really liked the last issue.

There have only been two. The way I see it, I only want to send out something when there's a bunch of significant news, and well, we wind up with a little bit of news here and there - and I don't want to just send the same stuff that's been on the site for weeks to people. You all already get enough e-mail as it is, most likely. Doing it weekly wouldn't work because there are weeks when nothing (or close to nothing) major happens. Monthly might work, I guess we're nearing a month. Maybe I'll send something new out soon.

How's about including a 20% of any new Disney DVD Release coupon in that next newsletter

I didn't get the last one either, but that was when my forum to e-mail thing was all screwed up, but it's working now

I sent one out like a few weeks ago. Did you guys get it and like it?
Did you like the formatting? The 'clever' subtitles?
Everything was pretty much on the site already, but it's easier to digest and easier to prioritize a month's worth of news. For instance, you know the Kim Possible game menu isn't as important as the change in the Platinum schedule. You do know that, right?

Maybe it was delivered to your bulk mail for some reason?
Your Yahoo e-mail address isn't in the subscriber list, did you use a different one?

Thanks. I'm glad you like them.Captain Hook wrote:I forgot to tell you Luke how great the news letters have been! Keep up the good work!
I have trouble knowing how often people return to the site and deciding what calls for a new issue, but I assume they're helpful for people who have forgotten to return or only stop by every few weeks.
I know you're around more often than that, so I'm glad to hear you find them good. Thanks for the feedback.

I just logged into an email address that I hardly ever use, and there were some Ultimate Disney newsletter emails. I had thought that I was getting UD newsletters through my current email address, but apparently not...and so I used the newsletter sign-up link on the homepage, and I filled out everything, and then there were ad-type things you could click on or press "cancel" to complete your registration, and then it brought me to some college's (University of Phoenix, maybe?) Myspace page! I have no idea if it worked...does all that mean that it worked? Is there a way to know if I signed up (I mean, besides waiting for the next newsletter)?
