I find it odd that all the SB reviews out so far have all shown the old cover art rather than the revised one.

im working on it right now! it will be up no later than 7:30 Central Time! and i don't know what you guys want snapshots of i got a few but if you want to see something just ask!

I dunno about the others, but screenshots of some of the menus and virtual galleries are enough for me. A friend of mine already made some caps of the actual film from her R2 copy, so I already have an idea of how good the transfer looks.

Ouch! what's that huh? looks to me like the Widescreen VHS!

He said "The original mono soundtrack has been very nicely separated into Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, although it is mostly front-loaded"

How is it mono? Sleeping Beauty was recording is Stereo-phonic. Stereo last time I checked is nothing near Mono

I take it he's not a big disney fan and has never bought this movie before.

all the featurettes in the DVD were recorded in 1997 or before for it's 1997 release

He said "Once Upon a Dream as well as a very bad music video from a lame teen pop band No Secrets doing their take on a retitled Once Upon (Another) Dream.."

at least we agree on something!

If you're going to publish a review, at least do your research and know that what you're saying is fact. Of course, with the digital medium the way it is, it can be fixed and it never happened. The widescreen comment is something anyone should know, though.

Yes, I think that may be what's going on, since we have a page and a half of new posts. No one really cares how many posts anyone has, its just wasting everyone's time to post nonsense to increase your numbers. At least we have the MARK ALL AS READ feature.
