Crazyest or remarkable things you have done in your life

Post by Isidour »

Hi everybody!
--Hi Dr. Nick-- :D giggles

So, I know than the Disney message it´s "everyone it´s a special person" and all that stuff. But what really talks of who you are it´s what you do--and it´s not one of those VERB commercial--.

I trow to you the question:
What it´s the wackiest or more remarkable thing you have done?

For me, well, I got a kind of "internet-shop" where I sold Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and I win on it almost $70,000 dlls.
I buyed my Sony Wega 34" tv--in that time it was the best of all, and a 38" didn´t fit on my tv room--my home theater, a new DVD player, my Xbox and in go shopping to Mix-Up--A disc and DVD store--and for not make the story too long, imagine a guy buying 63 Dvds in just one hit.

After that, I left it because of my school--I had an 87 as score when before that was 95 so bye-bye business--and I get sued because of one dork who choosed the most insecure sending method and tried to blame me of robbery.
Anyway, the sue never worked, because:
1.-in those times--2003-- there was many holes on the e-commerce mexican law
2.-I could proove than all was sended, I had e-mail of him choosing that method of shipping, and I remmonending him to choose another
and number three and more important:
I was just 17, so in Mexico I´m not a legal person--it´smean than I exist, I have no responsabilities but fewer rights than an adult--and that prevented me of being sued.
He could have sued me one year later, when I turned 18 and it apperared a new law, but because the "crime" it was not consider in that time one, it wasn´t illegal because it was no law.

pretty good for a seventeen-year-old kiddo isn´t?

how about you?

one day and no answers?
I can´t belive it, on this forum write just people who their major achievement is to be born, or just have a low self-stem--or the most possible,no one cares--

I was waiting at least a post of Luke in wich he said "I make UD but this peolpe also..."

to bad we have not people who have mad great things.
--or at least it appears to have none--

I don't know if you would consider this crazy or not, but I consider it great fun.:D

Well, I like guns... a lot. So does my friend, together we own:
4 AK-47's(semi-automatic of corse and they're not actually AK-47s, they have different modle names).
4 12 gauge shootgun's 3 pump, and 1 semi-automatic.
2 Ruger 10/22's all semi-auto of corse.
1 AR-15 with a night vision scope.
and 1 30-06 Remington bolt action, with a 55mm 10x scope and bi-pod.

Ok, so one day we take all of our AK's, AR-15 and shootguns and went to the mountains. We take a long four pumpkins which, we drew smiley faces on them. We position them behind a large hill (that way we know where the bullets end up) and we shoot at them one at a time for saftey reasons. We unloaded at least 1000 rounds into these things. Now an AK uses a bullet about the size of a .30 cal, and we were shooting 00 buck shoot and 1 ounce slug magnums with the shoot guns. By the time we were done with those pumpkins we could of made some pumpkin pie. Now when you're stressed out and take your anger out on some pumpkins, it fells pretty good, but your shoulder will be hurting for days.
We're competition shooters so it's good to get practice once in a while too.

If your are wondering, I live in Colorado, so all of these weapons we have are leagal to own. The only state that I can think of, and I know there's more where most of these weapons are not leagal is California.

When I was 13 I saved up for a trip of my own to the US! Only one year passed, and I was on the plane to a trip in the east coast! 8) All the money raised was from jobs like babysitting, car washes etc...)

I don't mean to change the subject here. But someone mentioned guns. I myself would like to own a gun or two. Just to protect myself. You see we have this big unfenced backyard that everyone walks through. We've put signs up and everything. We of course have a house alarm. But we have a high crime rate so I would feel much safer if I could protect myself. But here in Canada it's hard to get a gun license. They don't give them to just anybody. There's all these strict rules. I am not familar with the gun laws in the U.S.

Which state do you want info on?

I thought Canada's more safe to live in than the United States...
At least that's what my cousin & her family tell us. :o
