I usually try to watch at least one short a week, as it allows me to just forget my troubles for a while and enjoy the short. However, if you had asked a couple of weeks ago, the answer would have been at least 2 or 3 times a day I'd be watching a series of shorts because I was compiling examples of societal attitudes in the Disney shorts for an academic paper I wrote on the subject entitled "Discover History through Disney Animated Shorts"

I tend to watch them once a month. With my schedule, that's the best I can do. :)

The first two waves, I watched through once when I got them, and have barely touched them since. (Except Davey Crockett, which I may have pulled out once or twice). Though truth be told, with all the reviewing, I barely have time to REwatch anything.

For the 3rd Wave, I watched Frontlines right through immediately, and the odd cartoon since. Ditto Mickey Colour 2. I don't think I've even touched the last wave at all. I might have watched a bit of Donald, but the MMC doesn't even interest me in the slightest.

I don't sit down and watch a whole Treasure in one sitting - it's a bit relentless watching short after short - but I if I'm working on something on the PC that requires a lot of short bursts of rendering or capturing, I'll often stick on a disc of shorts so I can dip in and out while I'm waiting.

Usually about once a week we will choose a treasure as the night's viewing and watch a few cartoons or a Disneyland segment. That has picked up recently though. Still have only watched seven of the fourteen completely. Another four or so are partially watched.

I just got Mickey in living color vol 2 and ordered Donald. I'm guessing I'll watch them about once a month. I watched Mickey all the way through when I got it and will do the same for Donald. :D

Well, I usually do it this way when I watch the treasures, that I first watch them entirely and later if I'm bored or if I'm not on the right mood I pick up the best short's and watch them. It wouldn't even come to my mind to watch the whole set monthly, it took enough time to go through them at the first round (which I enjoyed very much, though). I still have to watch the shorts on MMLC vol. 1.

The only Treasures set I have is On the Front Lines. I only watch it every now and then. If I watch every day, I can easily get bored of it. So I only watch a certain movie on a certain month so I don't easily get bored watching them.

I don't have any! :( Too expensive! I might get either the Mickey Mouse Club, the Donald Duck one, or the Tomorrow land one sometime though!

No, they are not too expensive.

(Even though I guess you could argue that they indeed are if you can't really afford to buy them - too bad.)

I think "every now and then" describes it pretty well for my part. I've watched them all within days or a couple of weeks after I got them. After that I've taken one down from the shelf now and then and watched bits and pieces. Apart from that I cannot really talk about any particular watching frequency - so far I've had enough with watching most of my DVDs just once.
