Any Digimon fans?
Any Digimon fans?
I was wondering if there were any Digimon fans here. I've seen all four seasons and enjoyed the first three, the fourth season was okay...
Okay, so Disney owns Digimon, right? Does that mean they have the rights to release DVDs, etc..?

I used to like Digimon but when I did like it I really loved the first two seasons. Then season three and four came it really became lame.
My favorites are Angemon and Angelwomon.

I did actually enjoy the first few years of Digimon, although I have to say I preferred Pokemon there for a while (Jesse and James mainly). Overall, I did think that Digimon was a "better" show, I just enjoyed Pokemon more overall. Digimon was a bit more compelling storywise though.
I didn't like the change in direction though, which I think was the third or fourth season. You know, where they pretended that the first few seasons had just been a "TV show" and we were now in the "real world", where "real" Digimon existed. I sort of lost interest around then...

I loved Digimon when it was good! I liked the first few seasons, but not the new ones. I don't even know what the new one is now. I remember watching a lot the season with older TK and Kari and the new ones: Davis, Cody, and Yo Lee (or something like that) and Ken. Weren't they in the moive? Anyhow I liked that season and the one before it. I liked how they digivolved because they got so much cooler except when Angemon and Armadillomon's digivolved form (ankylomon?) DNA digivolved because it looked so stupid: Chaqooomon or something. Anyhow it looked like a teapot statue or something or Mrs. Pott's great Uncle. I remember a more recent digimon season where the kids merge with their digimon and become digimon knights or whatever. That was kind of creepy.
Anyhow if you have noticed a few weeks (or months? I had been missing a for a long time ending last week because of the school musical) ago, I had this for my avatar:

Mr. Toad I couldn't agree with you more. It's just advertisment for you to buy cards and toys. You spend so much of it then you find out your kids aren't intrested in it then they find something new to buy! Stupid isn't it?Mr. Toad wrote:More Pokecrap. Animation based on the toys you can sell always sucks.
