We have about 4 here, the closest is about 15-20 minutes, the others are about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. There was one that was only like 10 minutes away but it closed down. :x

In England, there's a number of Disney Stores, but there isn't one in the town that I live in. However, some of the bigger nearby towns and cities have some, so I'm able to go then, but I normally just window shop.

i've got a disney store about 3 miles from here in the Topanga Plaza and one that's about 10 miles away in the Northridge Mall.

Wow, so many of you don't have a Disney store close-by, perhaps i should stop taking them for granted..

There is not a single Disney store in my area. In fact, I just saw one for the very first time about a month ago at a mall in another state...but nobody I was with wanted to go in...

How cool!!! I went to that mall once or twice, I think, when I studied abroad in New Hampshire!!!! I think it was my favorite mall out of all the ones I went to that year.

I'm sad. There's none here in Mexico. But there is one in McAllen and another in Laredo, Texas, and I go to those places often.

The Disney Store story here in Germany is a very sad one. Once there were stores in every big german city like here in frankfurt (where I live). It was fun going there. Sometimes I was looking for stuff like cups or similar, but the big thing was that they had a lot of collectibles (lithos, figures, etc.). But someday Disney closed all german Disney stores arguing the stores didn´t make enough money... obviously there are some in Great Britain. I´m not sure about the other Europea Countries but here in Germany those days are over...

btw: for those interested in animation art and animation collectibles in Europe - in London there is a cool store called "the animation art gallery" - I vistited them twice and bought some great stuff there. Very recommendable, just in case somebody´s coming to London the next time. Of course they´ve a homepage: www.animaart.com

I don't know how many there are in the Atlanta area -- at least a half-dozen, maybe more. I go to the one at the Gwinnett Mall occasionally to see what they have on clearance -- I refuse to pay full price for anything at The Disney Store. I bought a cheap t-shirt there a couple weeks ago: "Bruce's All-You-Can-Eat Fish-Friendly Seafood: Come In For A Bite".

I never realized before that there's a lot of people from the Lower Mainland on this board. Good stuff. :D

Metrotown has the closest Disney Store for me as well.
