Cover Spelling Blooper

Post by LindaMYoung »

Has everyone seen the new covers for the DVDs of That Darn Cat! and Summer Magic? Hayley Mills' name is misspelled on both of them!

Any chance these are just mockups and not the real thing? It's going to look really stupid if they're released that way.

I tried to send a note on Disney.com and couldn't find any contact information to send a note about DVDs.

I'm glad you found your way back to the forum, Linda! :eye:

With the catalogue titles, you rarely see changes in cover art. But you've got to think that such a blatant error won't go unnoticed. Whether it gets corrected in time for the first printing or not, we'll see.

Well, the misspelled covers have been posted on Amazon.com, so a whole lot more people will be phoning into the Disney consumer hotline when they see the error.

Another blooper of sorts happened in the Gargoyles Season 1 DVD advertising. It was billed as having the voice of Brent Spiner (Data) from Star Trek. But they were only half right. Brent DID do the voice of Puck. But Puck didn't come into the series till Season 2.
