Hello all!
I'm rather excited today, as I just bought a copy of Walt Disney Treasures: Mickey Mouse In Living Colour Volume 1! I managed to locate a previously viewed copy at a Blockbuster Video in my area. I immediately snatched it up, however there are a couple of problems.
The first problem is that it doesn't come in the proper case, and as such does not have a cover around the case. I'm not worried about the tin, but I would like a proper cover surrounding the case. Thus I'm putting out a request to the UD community for some help in obtaining a digital copy of the cover so that I can print it out and place it around my case. For those that are worried that I have bought a bootleg, I will provide a picture of the case and copy of the reciept, if you should request it. If this request seems to be illegal or against the rules of the forum, I invite the moderators to delete it, as I do not wish to cause any problems.
The second problem lies in the fact that no inserts were provided with this copy. I'm not really concerned about the certificate of authenticity, as that is probably gone for good, but I'm curious if Disney would be able to send me a copy of the other inserts (The book and collectable lithograph) and the tin. This is only if someone knows. If not, I'll have to do without, but I would really like these items (If it makes any difference I live in Canada).
Thank you in advance for all of your help in this matter. I'm really excited about owning this collection, and now I have 2 more to find (The Complete Goofy and Mickey Mouse In Black And White Volume 1.

MMiLC vol 1 did not come with a certificate of authenticity. They only brought those in when they got rid of the numbered tins!

MM living color 1 didnt have a certificate of authenticity, the limited numbering was on the tin.
You're probably missing the tin, booklet, lithograph, and blue band cus Blockbuster takes the discs out of those for rent. But didn't they have at least the cover on the cases on the shelves when you're looking to rent an item?
UD member Tannerman had a site with a great set of custom made Treasure inserts made to supplement the ones that came in with the treasures with extra info, which might help alleviate your lonely Mickey discs while you find the real deal

EDIT: Ahh ichabod beat me to it with the numbered tin info

Thank you all for the advice, I will probably call Disney tommorow morning and find out if I can get the inserts. Hopefully they can send me a tin as well, but I doubt that'll happen.
Deathie Mouse, thank you very much for the website, I'll be sure to get that.
Unfortunately, I don't have the proper casing because Blockbuster just kept it in their renting case when putting it out on the shelves.
_tink_ Thank you for the offer to scan, I reallly appreciate it. I can wait a little while. Unfortunately I cannot become a part of the Disney Movie Club because I live in Canada. It really sucks because I'd probably buy quite a few movies through them
Oh well, thank you all again!

Jayden well if you're truly rabid about a tin (which I could understand if that was the only treasure sitting on a shelf.. nekked
) you could always find the lowest deal on one of the recent wave treasures and use their tin (and print the front and back cover images and glue them
) and give the DVD inside as a gift to a kid or try to sell it. If you know a good machinist he could even engrave your own personalized limited ultra rare A-000001 number on it!
About the missing band maybe this thread can be of some help:

Deathie Mouse You're idea has some merit to it, however I don't think I will worry about it that much. As of right now all of my inner cases are within my DVD collection and my tins are on top, sitting on their own because they don't fit within my shelving units. The reason I separated the inner cases from the tins is because the tins are sitting somewhere where they can easily fall if fiddled with too much, so to prevent unneccesary damage I've kept them separated, that way I have the nifty presentation of the Tins and the cases that fit in with the rest of my collectiondeathie mouse wrote:Jayden well if you're truly rabid about a tin (which I could understand if that was the only treasure sitting on a shelf.. nekked) you could always find the lowest deal on one of the recent wave treasures and use their tin (and print the front and back cover images and glue them

I just called Disney. They're really nice people, he took down my information and said that they'd send the inserts right away and it should be here in 10 days! Talk about service!
Thanks for your suggestions guys!
