I put my DVD in my computer & it read blank! The DVD will only play in my old Philips DVD recorder/player. My computer doesn't have any recording devices so recording it via my blackberry was my only option.Kyle wrote:Wow, awesome. Thanks for sharing!
Not to be greedy, but I don't suppose you could upload a direct feed of this by any chance? You said its a dvd right? Dvds can be ripped, the quality would be much improved.

Re: Disney/Pixar characters at the Oscars
I've found a very interesting article titled Mickey Mouse at the Oscars. Apparently, there was a controversy over replacing Adrianna Caselotti as the voice of Snow White when she presented the Oscar for Best Short.

Now that was fascinating !! Thank you for sharing.
Very interesting about Snow White; even then, it appears Disney is caviller with picking and choosing who they have to voice the characters at whatever point.

Wow, Snow White kind of acted like a fake stuck up bitch at the Oscars!! I'm embarrassed and saddened by her behavior.

Indeed! She doesn't look like Snow at all!PatrickvD wrote:Yeah, she's more Betty Boop than Snow White.
Either way, a great thread with great finds. I liked the clip of "Beauty and the Beast". While not as completely polished as the final movie, it's still not bad (it's easy to see that Mark Hehn animated Belle on this one). The CGI Mickey could've been better. Otherwise, good finds

The Oscars have now posted the entire clip of the Toy Story 2 characters presenting Best Animated Short on their YouTube page:
