Caved in and got an Xbox 360 (Arcade Version - 199.99) yesterday.
I bought two games for it (Star Wars: Force Unleashed and Dead Rising - $40.00)
I got a wireless adapter to connect to XBox Live (99.99)
I now need to get a hard drive so I can download games (It keeps telling me I do not have enough space)
So it's getting pretty costly for me.

I finally picked up volumes 2 & 3 of Animaniacs, brand new at FYE for only $14.99 each!
I'd been wanting them for ages (I picked up the first volume way back when it first came out) but didn't want to shell out $30+ for each.
Yay, now I've got all three!

Now if only they'll release the fourth volume and the movie.

Oh, I want those Animaniacs sets so bad! I only have volume 2, and volume 2 of Pinky and the Brain as well! I found them a while back for 6 bucks or so at Big Lots, brand new. We don't have FYE's where I live though. I don't even know what that is. At least I've finally started with the Peanuts decade sets and the Looney Tunes Goldens. Gotta get Tiny Toons also!
Oh, but wait, EW, this should be posted in the new DVD thread. Oh well, I'm not the local stickler for that sort of thing.
As for myself, I added a second statuette to my new "Electric Tiki" collection. I got the Betty Boop black and white version mini maquette. It arrived yesterday! And, last week I received my Mr. Magoo one. Yeah, I've been starting small, but I also have won Ebay auctions for a Bug Bunny one from the WB Collector's Guild and the Slue Foot Sue WDCC statue I've always wanted. Plus, a classic Eeyore for the Classic Pooh collection I've been building. I just need Kanga with Roo now, but the only one that looks good to me is the 100 dollar Steif one...
I've been very picky about which ones I add to this collection, wanting them to have a hint of the Disney look about them, but also with a genuine look of an "old toy". Most of the classic Kangas out there are lame looking.
Oh, speaking of the WB collector's Guild, which seems to have been an attempt to copy the Walt Disney Classics Collection, anyone know if they made any other statues for that club? I have only seen the Bugs Bunny on Ebay. Did it fizzle out after the first release? Or was it focused on something other than statues? Anyway, next on my list are the Tooned up Buffy statues (either one), a WDCC Mickey Mouse, a good Uncle Scrooge, and the animated Batgirl and Supergirl to go with the Zatanna I also recently Ebayed, plus Basil and Dawson from WDCC, but for now I need to take a spending break first. Also watching for the new Toy Story Collection stuff.

Shhh . . . I didn't realize that until after I posted.slave2moonlight wrote:Oh, but wait, EW, this should be posted in the new DVD thread. Oh well, I'm not the local stickler for that sort of thing.
I just got a brand new 22" monitor on sale, which I'm tilting sideways and using for my drawing window in addition to my regular one. My tablet was on the fritz but luckily I've got it working again, whew! I think my set-up's pretty interesting now; I've got a new desk and some bookshelves and it works out great. Once I get the area cleaned back up I'll have to take a picture.

While I was getting the Squeakquel today on blu, I picked up Mario Kart for the Wii, which comes with the Wii wheel. I'm going to have to get another Wii wheel now for my little sis. Oh, and another controller I guess, since it turns out the wheel just combines with the controller. I wasn't aware of that.
