Wherever you found this is just a 'fountain of misinformation'. If you think any of this is correct, you have a weird idea of how families are today.

I was married once before, as was my wife. We have a son and twin daughters, who have provided us with 10 wonderful grand children. I have two sons from my previous marriage and my wife had no children in her previous relationship. Now being born many years before you, our kids were raised without the benefit of what used to be called mobile phones and you now know as cell phones. They were raised to learn the value of a dollar, and respect their elders. Our grandchildren range in age from 13-4 and they are normal children who are being brought up the way their parents were. None of them have their own cell phone, nor have they asked for one. Those who are in school are involved in school activities and don't have time to wander around the mall unsupervised. Neither my wife nor myself are "keep up with Joneses" types of people. We believe that all the values we taught our children growing up are being passed on to our grand children, and we are thanked almost on a daily basis for how we taught our children about life.

I don't think you will ever find a family that fits that description you posted, and if there is, they are all probably ex-cons, or all the kids they have had are in child protective services. Those descriptions, in my opinion, are way off base, and should be ignored as garbage.

It's a shame! A shame, I tell you! Won't someone please think of the children!

What has become of society? Women who want to have their voices heard and opinions respected; couples who are miserable together splitting up to find happiness elsewhere; sexuality no longer being treated as something dirty and dangerous; teenagers fornicating; women wearing what they want; and the list goes on and on!

Before you know it, you'll see mixed marriages or even people of the same sex marrying! Where does it all end?!

Honestly, I don't think that someone who opens thread after thread to share her sexual fantasies about cartoon crickets, foxes and dwarfs is the right person to point out what's 'strange' about other people's private lives.

*I'm ten years older than my husband. :p Not sure why anyone would hold any importance over which spouse was the oldest.
*It's the first marriage for both of us.
*No children yet.
*Autism? Is it really that common?
*The last thing I need is implants. rotfl
*My ex cheated on me, if that counts. :p
*N/A
*Uh . . . wtf? Saying that it actually happened or just claiming it did for the attention? :?
*Not sure what the problem with Viagra is.
*I really doubt Rey and I have the types of issues to teach children to be wary for no good reason or to bash like that.
*Celebrity crushes are pretty normal, look at how some of the girls screamed for The Beatles back in the day . . . girls that are now the ages of our mothers or grandmothers.
*Children's online activities should be supervised up to a certain age, and they should be taught early on not to talk to strangers (both in RL and online)
*N/A . . . not that anyone ever plans on having a divorce.
*I usually wear my jeans, and there's nothing low-rise about them. And shaving . . . who should really care one way of the other?
*Why would having sons affect how the mother feels about her looks?
*And why would having daughters make the mother teach them to be cruel? :?
*While the age of three is obviously too young, I don't see a problem with giving school-aged children cell phones as long as they're taught to be responsible for how they use them. Plus they can be a great safety tool.
*If we do have kids, when the time is right I will not be shy about explaining the emotional and physical details & responsibilities of becoming an adult.
*N/A . . . but it seems a little odd.

No offense Jackoleen, but your list seems out of whack over a lot of touchy subjects. Is this just random crap you pull out of your head or what? :? And don't get me wrong as I typically find your posts entertaining, but I do find myself scratching my head over a lot of them.

But to answer your question, I guess my family is not average. 8)

Not true as far as I know. Each family is different. Your list does not describe mine at all, the one I came from or any that I know personally in real life.

I'm glad you're all happy. you have truly achieved perfection.

with society, there is a problem with lack of respect among different generations, but it seems to start with adults. kids have their voice but are almost never heard.

I know I shouldn't, but I can't let this go.

2. Divorce is so much better than forcing children to live in a hellish atmosphere where they are constantly surrounded by fighting.
3. What's wrong with single parents? Once again, better to have only one parent than two fighting ones, or than a father/mother who is a drunk and spends all the money in a family.
4. On the whole teenagers and sex. I really don't care what people do in their private lives. I hope they are practicing safe sex. But if they choose not to, they'll have to live with the consequences.

Also, you mentioned a couple times that you would do anything to become normal. Why? What's wrong with being outside the norm? Why is it so important to you to be normal?

Oh, give it up, you're not fooling anyone anymore! Your pathetic and ridiculous fantasies have plagued this forum long enough now, don't you think? If you want attention, you can just start a normal thread like everybody else, but this obsessive urge of you to get reactions out of made-up, over-the-top or gross-out stories which you pulled out of your ass (yes, that's right, that's where you pull them from) has got to stop sometimes. We all know you're making this shit up and that you're doing it only to troll and to get attention.

You've made your point. Now move on.

* The husband is at least 7-20 years older than his wife. - my mom and dad where both born in 1970

* At least one of the spouses has been divorced at least once before. - They're divorced from each other

* The couple has at least 2 children. - Yes! Me and my brother

* At least one of those children is Autistic. Um??

* The wife has breast implants. - Um?? I'll have to ask my mom on that one

* At least one of the spouses has cheated on the other at least once. - Yep, my dad did

* Almost every one of the couple's kids will become sexually active before the age of 13. - No

* If one of the children is a girl, she will go away to college claiming to have been raped and/ or molested. Um??

* The husband will begin a Viagra regimen at around 45. Um??

* The husband teaches his boy children to be wary of girls, and the wife teaches her daughters to bash boys as much as they can. - No he taught us to use the most of our time being alive

* The girl children want to be kissed by Justin Beiber, and the boy children want to be kissed by Salena Gomez. Um??

* The kids are chatting with strangers on their own computers by the age of 7. - Man, if only I had a computer when I was 7 :/

* The husband and the wife will divorce, and there will be a child custody battle. - No my dad didn't even show up

* The wife wears NO other pants besides low-rise pants, and BOTH parents shave EVERYTHING. Um??

* No female who's over the age of 14 wears any other type of underpants besides thongs. Um??

* If all of the kids are boys, the wife will be preoccupied with her physical looks, and she'll give her sons every single thing that they might ever want. - Well it's just me and my brother so that part is right

* If all of the kids are girls, the wife will be preoccupied with dressing them in pink, teaching them how to be cruel to boys, and encouraging them to memorize the phrase "GIRL POWER!", while saying such things as "You can get away with anything, Sweetheart, as long as you know how to flash an innocent smile.". Um??

* Each child will have their own cell phone by the age of 3. - Nope got mine when I was 12 since I waited late after school till 5pm +

* Both parents will take the "slide an informative booklet under the door" approach to the issue of "The Birds and the Bees". - No there was a video played for us in my class in 7th grade

* If there are both boys and girls in the house, the girls accuse the boys of bragging about their strength too much, and the boys accuse the girls of spending too much time on their hair and makeup - I'm gay so my mom jokes I'm half/half haha but my bro doesn't brag about anything really

Coming from a pretty screwed up family, which I don't have to explain because really it's none of your business, I'm kind of offended that you are so upset by some of your standards of what is a "bad family" or a family that demonstrates what is wrong with society.

If anything is wrong with society, it's that we have to deal with bullshit like your views of what's a good family.

Granted, I do agree that the over-sexualization of the youth is an issue, but as an educated person you should realize that this has been an issue since the beginning of time. Just because it's not clearly stated in general education history books doesn't mean that rape/molestation/or any other sex crime is exclusively a modern problem.

Seriously though, as someone who posts on a public forum stuff like this, I don't think you have room to judge anyone.
