Re: Maleficent (2014): Official Discussion
Has anyone on here mentioned that Paul Dini is another writer on this movie? I think that it was SMART of Disney to get Dini on board.

Re: Frozen: Part IV
When I was reading the D23 magazine article on Frozen, I was quite happy to learn that Lisa Keene, a very talented artist, has worked with Michael Giaimo as a visual development artist on Frozen.
Now if only Lisa can be an art director of another Disney film...

Re: Hand-Drawn Animation Dead at Disney?
Oops! I knew I forgot something. Rhapsody in Blue is indeed a great sequence and I do like the music and visuals of Pines of Rome as well. But the Firebird to me is the closest thing to a true "Fantasia" were ever going to get where the art and music have a perfect cohesive whole.

Re: Hand-Drawn Animation Dead at Disney?
The only good thing about Fantasia 2000 is the Firebird Suite, and that's about it. Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear and Home on The Range are from dissapointing to downright terrible at most.

Re: What Disney movie did you just watch?
Tangled I really loved how Disney got better at their CG films but the only downside to this wonderful movie is that the songs, while better than TPATF songs, are not Alan's best though Slaters lyrics are what hurts them (except for Mother Know's Best and it's reprise and I See The Light).

Re: Glen Keane has Officially Resigned from Disney
DisneyJedi, if it can make you feel better; according to one of Clay Kaytis's tweets apperently Kathy Zielinski the talented supervising animator of Judge Claude Frollo has returned to Disney to be part of the animation crew for Frozen.

Re: Frozen: Part IV
Hello there, I'm new here and I hope I can feel welcome here.
Now, when it comes to the new Frozen trailer, I kinda like it. It's much better than the Tangled trailers that's for sure, but no where near the trailers of the 1990s.
