I wouldn't exactly call the 90's the Golden Age, but I digress. But even after the soundtracks were such a huge success (well, most of those on the list) we still haven't gotten any of the complete scores with all the songs and all of the scores. Why, Disney? And if they don't want to, there are eno...

It doesn't sound that bad, but that way they couldn't capitalize off a well known franchise.

Yeah, it's not like Burton's Batman wasn't a huge box office success  . I have to say that a reboot could potentially be really interesting. Nolan's version is alright, but there's still plenty of room for improvement. A bit more fantasy would do the character justice. Was burton rebooting th...

Watching a Disney cheapquel is like watching Eisner urinating on Walt's grave: bland new characters, laughably bad animation, contrived plots, and unoriginal stories. However, The Lion King sequels are almost a bit superior to the other, trashier cheapquels. Almost. Surely you mean "urinating ...

To me, both of their motives seem a bit ridiculous. The Queen can't stand that anyone else looks prettier than her, and wants to murder that person because of that. Maleficent isn't invited to a baby shower, and also wants to murder the kid because of that. Talk about misusing your powers and gettin...

I agree that overscrubbing can remove detail from a film, and in no way do I dislike grain and think it should be abolished just for the sake of it. I think the advantage of Blu-ray's video quality is that a film can be presented as it premiered in theaters or as the director's originally intended....

If things simply don't work, then why shouldn't they get separated? Should they continue living unhappy lives with each other just because their church or whatever says divorce is impossible. Sure, sticking by each other for sixty years is impressive, but what good is that when there's no love invol...

It's one frame out of what seems to be a fast moving shot. Commenting on how she looks is simply too soon, in my opinion.

Good news! Michael Giacchino's score for Cars 2 will be released on a CD instead of being just limited to mp3. I suspect Disney is only doing this because Cars 2 contains more than a score. http://www.amazon.com/Cars-2-Various-Artists/dp/B004WIKQIM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1306478744&sr=8-1 Y...

The review at Blu-ray.com (2.5 out of 5 stars for picture quality) says the transfer shows scratches, color flickering, and telecine wobble. Grain I am fine with (even though the review says this grain present is thick and inconsistent), but print damage should not be there. According to Don Bluth'...

This title would probably already be in my collection if it weren't for what I've read to be horrible video quality. Maybe if I can get it for about $5, I'd grab it, but until then, I'm not interested. :( Well, from what I've read the Blu-ray looks far from horrible. It's not a grain-removed, color...

A reboot will fail because the Dark Knight set the bar so high that everything will be compared to it and fail. It's just doomed already. ^Clever. Besides Pixar which has earned general audiences' respect, most studios have to sell their films as crap (including live-action films), because the public eats it up. Digital Noise Reduction generally as a rule can't be seen if you are watching the movie as a consumer. If you are someone with way too much time on their hands then you watch something one frame at a time, anyone would be able to find flaws with something they are watching. Why not just sit back an...
