While I don't think The Lion King aged badly, it seems that people no longer view this film as "The Best Animated Film Ever".
If Frozen age badly, in my opinion it will be because the characters feel so out of time and not "Timeless".

Re: The Walt Disney Signature Collection
That's a shame. Now people can't have a consistent digibook collection.

Re: The Walt Disney Signature Collection
Quite literally, only Disney's are mere storybooks. This is exactly why I don't buy them. Some of the covers are nice, but other than the fact that they are produced in limited quantities, there's no draw to them, at least for me. Plus, they take up more shelf space - which normally I don't care ab...

Re: Wreck-It Ralph 2
I hated it, especially the princesses' scene where they are merely shells and lack any depth the true characters had.
Also, when was Belle kidnapped and enslaved?

Re: The Walt Disney Signature Collection
Yes when I said "The art of" I meant "The making of". I also would like to clarify that I don't hate the storybooks, they look gorgeous and I like the quality of the pages. I also plan to get The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Sleeping Beauty's digibooks when they are released.

Re: The Walt Disney Signature Collection
I just think it misses the point of a digibook. The content should about the making of the film, like how in The Legacy Collection, the content is about the making of the music.

Re: The Walt Disney Signature Collection
I got Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King digibooks today. The covers look really good. I wish the books were more like "The Art of..." than a mere storybooks.

Cinderella's face looks like an older Vanellope. They probably used the same model.

Re: Wreck-It Ralph 2
Groan. Y’all can’t be pleased with anything, can you? Well, reaction on Twitter has been positive. Grace Randolph loves it, Scott M from Forbes said that this scene alone could add $100 million extra to the film's box office. And this is ALL Disney cares about at the end of the day. They couldn't c...

Re: What's next after Signature Collection?
Isn't the The Incredibles 4K UHD blu ray a sign that Disney is willing to release their older films on 4K?

Re: Wreck-It Ralph 2
Yeah where is Ariel? I wonder if she's human or mermaid. I'm not a fan of how the princesses look here though. Way too off-model which I guess was necessary to make them suit the movie but I expected them to look more like themselves. I don't like how they look as well. It looks like a bad fan art ...

Re: The Renaissance v. the Lasseter Era
In my opinion, on the whole the Renaissance is better. With that being said, I think Moana is better than every film from the Renaissance except Beauty and the Beast. Frozen, Tangled and Zootopia are better than the latter half of the Renaissance except The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Re: Funko POP! Disney
I really wish they'd make Rock Candies of the princesses, especially Belle in her winter dress and Aurora in her peasant dress.
